Keefe: "We've got to prepare to win one very challenging hockey game. Anything else outside of our preparation and our execution when game time comes is a distraction, and it's on me as a coach and our players individually to eliminate as many distractions as possible." #Leafs

I’m scared by how much shit talking i’ve read about Vasi past 24 hours. Everywhere from online forums like here to our media asking coaches about it and reporting how poor he has been.
Just feels like we as a market haven’t learned and are tempting fate and we will get f u Vasi the rest of the series.
Talk all the shit you want after you get the 4th win but why give a guy like that any ammo to find his game even if only for a few games
Just don’t wait until the 2nd period of game 4 to make the proper adjustments next time.
The fans shouldn’t know before the coach
In a perfect world I want to maintain a comfy 2 goal lead the entire way through until the final buzzer; a lead with some cushion but not a blowout where those dirty fucks try to send us some parting gifts for next series.
That being said it’s gonna be 3-2 nailbiter because I asked for one game I can maintain a normal bpm
Leafs need to start the game as if they are down by 3. That should be the message and the mindset.
This is important for Keefe. He needs to not only coach the locker room, but he’s gotta outcoach Cooper and take advantage of last change on home ice.
The optimist in me says that the last two games have solidified a « never give up, believe in ourselves » mentality that should hopefully be a huge factor in home ice. Go to work with confidence *plus* urgency.
The pessimist says the past two wins were a combo of flukey bounces and a shaky Tampa goalie, and the Leafs don’t have what it takes to shut down a desperate Tampa team.
I’ve committed to being relentlessly optimistic about this series. Just want to see the Leafs start on time and not play from behind too badly.
Let’s hope they aren’t sleeping at the start of another game. I count 3 of 4 games they have looked BAD out of the gate.
Leafs need to approach this like it is Game 7 already.
Game 2 repeat!
No nutting until after the game. We need all the T we can get
