I got to say, as a Kraken fan, I’ve really enjoyed all of your game recaps and coverage of this series.
Some things we disagree on at times, but for the most part you all have been the most objectively unbiased examiners of this series (as anyone who is a fan of either side can be) that I have found.

Avs was playing a regular season game and lost. While it would be nice if they win the 1st round this effort is not going to cut it in the 2nd. Whatever the case, it's not a fun team to watch right now. Would be better off to lose and take the longer summer break to get healthy for another try next season.. Here's to hoping Cale shows up and carries to the team next few games i guess..

Newhook was an investment. For him to be on second, he does offer speed other Mack, his hands are probably the the best in bottom 6 right. Nito has great bottom 6 qualities. I think Bednar needs to see if he can max out Newhook quality by putting in the top 6. He'll get better passes of the rush instead of getting passes he needs to dig a long the boards, which suits Nito more. For Nito role to take place, Avs needs to have the lead and since he not producing in the top 6, Newhook's qualities would offer opinions for 2nd line. Righr now it's too simple to zone in on a Lenky or a Miko when it comes to 2nd line, in order for them to find room, Kraken needs to know there might be another thread.

Even the Avs play up to 80% of what we know they can play, the Avs will be fine. For me, there's only one Towes on the team, relying just on stick check is not helping the Avs on forecheck pressure, just little bumps, getting in skating paths and pushes along the board would give Avs thr little time and space to help transition game thr depend on.
I am pretty sure you guys said the Kraken wont beat the Aves. As of now you are wrong. I dont think the Kraken will win the Stanley Cup, but i do think theres a slight possibility.
