And the Devils have played great when no one thought they would, and they deserve all the credit in the world. Any bets now that the general consensus is that the Devils have all but won the series that the Rangers play great next game? When it comes to being a hockey fan, I look at trends, at stats, and who is getting hot when before I make a prediction as to how I think a series will go. It has been decades since I applied that thinking to being a Rangers fan. I just watch and hope they win, and accept the results. I am NEVER surprised no matter what happens. But I'll say it. LGR!!!!
What an embarrassment. Went from dominating first two games to not showing up for the next three. Igor has been the only one playing great but can't win games if goals aren't scored.
Haula pulling the biggest Jekyl and Hyde in Devils history with how he's performing in this series. I think every fan wanted his head during the regular season, but he's found a nice chemistry with Mercer and has been all over the ice the last few games.
Helps to have veterans that have been there before when you're down 0-2 and everyone is counting you out.

Last couple of games of been tough to watch as a rags fan but I really do believe we played a strong game tonight we just couldn’t bury one home and I think we’ll really pull our act together to force a game 7
Good luck to the Devils. The Rangers rely far too much on their attack and especially 2 players. Shut them down and it's game over pure and simple. The Rangers are a team that flatters to deceive, year after year. Just a shame that as fans we can't even be proud of a cup run.

Thinking it was over was naive. This is a fast team young team that just had to adjust in the postseason, and Schmiddy absolutely goalied the Rangers in this series. Lets go Devils!!!!
From basically dead to in total command, the Devils have shocked me. I was expecting them to go down in 5 games after the first 2 matches. Unbelievable job so far, you've shown a lot of heart and fire in games 3, 4 and 5. What a series it's been.
