That was one of the craziest games I’ve ever seen

I’m so fucking happy with the game tonight. Obviously because we won, but also because I had to watch it in a bar in NC that was full of Bruins fans. I was the only panthers fan, but I cheered when we scored, booed when the Bruins scored, and generally had fun. When we got a shitty penalty i jokingly asked them if they all paid into the ref bribe fund, or if it was just the management who did it. Well, true to form they couldn’t take a joke and turned into the biggest, most whiny little bitches in the world. Threatening me, calling me various homophobic slurs, and generally being dicks. Apparently they aren’t used to people not bowing down to them, because when I stared one of them down they got suuuuper extra pissy.
Anyway, I sat down and some randos in the bar had seen what happened and started cheering for the Panthers, telling me if shit goes down they have my back.
When we won I picked up my coat, checked my phone, and walked out head held high.
0/10 for pissy Bruins fans, 10/10 for random NC folk who had the back of this middle aged, middle class, pasty-faced Panthers fan.
