Neutral zone play and forecheck has got to be better on sunday.

    I believe.

As much as id love to clinch it now – it will be sweet to do it right to their home crowds faces.

  4. AkuraTorment

Boys didn’t have it tonight … Really hoping we pull through and win game 7 … Regroup boys it’s do or die time now

  5. TreeBeard___

Gru is absolutely carrying us and the team needs to support him. Unfortunate loss but we’re going to game seven and we’re coming to win!

  6. philocity

If I had to rate that game on a scale of one to ass, I’d have to say, it was very ass.

  7. steppewarhawk

I MAY BE SAD WE LOST BUT I STILL BELIEVE IN THE BOYS. WIN IT IN COLORADO, THE BEST ROAD TEAM IN THE NHL. LETS FUCKIN GO. SEE YALL SUNDAY

  8. Grubauer deserves better.

At least we play well on the road.

  9. Kanine_tv

Tough loss at home. Knew the Avs weren’t gonna go out without a fight, and that they did. Bring it to them on their home ice Sunday. Send them packing in front of their crowd! Let’s go Kraken!

  10. SadAtProgramming

THAT SUCKS, BUT I GUESS WE WILL DO IT IN DENVER! 🦑🦑🦑

  11. Go_Hawks12

That was painful and disappointing. Team was flat. Need to figure it out sunday

  12. TakeATaco-LeaveATaco

    Well, that wasnt ideal.

Respect due when its earned. We just didnt have the juice tonight.

Love this team. Love this community. Game 7 is fucking ours

    # WE BELIEVE

    ##The Good:

    – Grubauer

    ## The Bad:

    – Literally everything else

#Welcome to do or die hockey, time to step up or shut up. Let’s fucking come back and show the league we aren’t here for fun but here to fucking win!

  14. Elbowdeepinwips

BABES WE PUSHED THE DEFENDING CHAMPS TO A GAME 7!

  15. One-Switch-1448

LETS GO KRAKEN, REST UP AND STEAL GAME 7 ON THE ROAD, I BELIEVE!!!

  16. BigGreyCatOwner

Shake it off and kick their ass in Game 7 in front of their home crowd sounds ok to me

  17. smegdawg

Aves showed up for a must win tonight.

Let’s steal it from them at their housel!!!

  18. alexh116

    *kicks trash can*

    #FUCKING EMBARRASSING

We can still beat the Avs

  19. temporacide

Game 7 is on my bday and I’m pretty sure I’m about to receive a dunn jersey. Good things are coming!!

  20. Will_Vintage

Welp, guess we get to make a bunch of Colorado losers cry in person when we crush their dreams in game 7.

  21. BlackSnowMarine

After Game 3, I was saying I’d be more than ecstatic to take this to 7 games and see what happens. Well we are, just not in the way I expected it.

Road team has been the superior team this series and guess who also kinda blows at home this season? The Avs. It was always Krack the Back in 7. 🦑🦑

  22. Hope you don’t mind a Wild fan hopping on board. Stats are showing that road teams are coming out on top, so this is favorable for game 7.

  23. TheEvergreenMonster

Mama Grubauer deserved to see her son win in person.

Hope the boys get some rest, eat a snickers and get back to their better form on Sunday.

Also Avs fans are some of the most toxic people, jesus christ

  24. DaHealey

We have 2 teams. One is nimble in the neutral zone (and stretches the zone with crisp passes), hungry for the puck on rebounds and efficient on winning battles on the board to get the puck to space.

The other team sits 4 guys on the blue line and passes back to the last D man to do a dump puck zone entry. They wait for the puck to come to them. They pass and pass and pass without shooting.

For whatever reason team 2 showed up in Game 3 and Game 6. But it’s been happening all year.

Really annoying that team showed up tonight again.

  25. cdsixed

honestly feel like that was the most disappointing games I’ve been to just knowing what this team is capable of vs what that was

and I went to some stinkers last year lol

well we’ve been a road team all year so our season coming down to a road game vs the champs is probably what we should have counted on

lets get another win and keep it going!!

  26. BigGreyCatOwner

These fools! They fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous of which is, ‘never get involved in a land war in Asia,’ but only slightly less well-known is this: ‘Never go up against the Kraken on the road when the series is on the line!’”

  27. Honestly, that was a disappointing effort. We were flat all game and couldn’t match the Avs effort. Gotta bring the energy for a full 60 on Sunday.

  28. juanthebaker

I went to game 3. Solidarity with the babes that went tonight. ✊ But we rattled off 2 wins in a row after game 3!

  29. my_lemonade

Yeah that was frustrating, we just seemed asleep at that wheel for some reason. Like we didn’t want to enter their zone, and just dump and chase.

Bummer, hoping Road Warrior Kraken comes out and wraps it up.

  30. MAHHockey

Burn the tape on that one. Only bright spot was Gru still playing solid. But nothing in sync, no jump. Tired from Denver? Gripping sticks too tight under the expectations? Let’s hope they put on a better show for game 7.

  31. I hate to cry about refs but the officiating was awful. Soooooo many missed penalties. So many soft penalties called. Really felt like the refs wanted to force a game 7.

That being said, I KNOW we can beat them in their house. We’ve got this babes, thrilling finish to round 1 on Sunday!

  32. WhatThePuck9

Avs fan just dropping by to say this has been one hell of a series! Thanks for the exciting games! No matter what happens in game 7, I think we all saw some serious dedication from both sides. When the Kraken are on the top of their game, they are scary to face. I hope the feeling is mutual and let’s hope for more great hockey! We will see you next season either way!

  33. Prototype_es

    Posting this again

On the bright side everyone, every time we’ve played like this we’ve turned around and made it everyone elses problem the next game. This team is VERY good at re evaluating and making adjustments after rough losses. McCann and Burky’s absence are noticeable but we can definitely overcome this on sunday. Worst case scenario we took the defending champs to 7 and made them fucking hate us in the process. This. Is. Not. Over.

  34. inalasahl

I’m choosing to see it as a plus that this is something within our hands to change. It’s not that Colorado played well. It’s that we played stupid. If we spend more time in the attacking zone and don’t take dumb penalties, we can win.

  35. Murmurmun

Oilers fan here: use your creepy ass tentacles to bitch slap these Avs right off their own home ice come game 7. There isn’t much that can beat an avalanche, but you know what might?

    A GIANT ASS SEA MONSTER!

    RELEASE THE KRAKEN!! LFG

  36. seataccrunch

This team was on its heels all night. This turtle up while the Mackinnon line skates circles around us isn’t going to win the series.

That said, no matter what in game 7 this 2nd season has been a huge step forward

  37. tateand99

No matter what happens in game 7 I am so so proud of this team and so proud to be a Kraken fan. My expectations for this season, and even my expectations for these playoffs have already been far surpassed. If they lose on Sunday I will of course be sad like every Kraken will and should be. But it won’t change that this has been an incredible season and and awesome playoff run against the defending champs. I don’t mean to be a downer and this is by no means me giving up on the team or saying we’ve already lost. I still believe and I’ll be cheering just as hard on Sunday as I was today. Lets go Kraken 🦑

  38. _MMCXII

Hard to call that anything other than the worst game they’ve had all series. Slow pace and no urgency at all. Inept at clearing their own zone. Zero interest in scoring on offense. No ability to stop them from scoring. And on top of all that some of the most egregious, one sided, complete bulletin reffing I’ve ever had to suffer through. Not really anything to feel good about going into game seven out of that.
