Why are we pretending this was a good game from Tampa? Leafs had the better chances, Vasilevskiy stole it. Tampa got the bounces on the flukey goals this time. I understand the Leafs trolls, but if you're a real fan crying about this game, get it together, or find something else to do.
Leafs have been outplayed 4 out of 5 games but got the bounces and the series lead. If Tampa continues to outplay Toronto and starts getting the bounces in their favour, Leafs are in trouble.

Lightening move the puck out of their zone so much more easily than the Leafs and get it to their forwards with some momentum. Their strong forecheck and pinching D totally bottles up the Leafs who when they eventually get it out have forwards who are standing still in neutral zone and can barely chip it in. Cooper has figured out how the Leafs like to break out but Keefe hasn’t adjusted nor has he come up with a strong enough forecheck plan to increase their ozone time. Tampa just looks like a better prepared and coached team that knows how to win when their backs are against the wall. Wish I could say that about the

I respectfully disagree with both of you. Winning this game would be the next closest thing to a sweep – 4 straight. They played great. Unfortunately, when 1 defensive player on any team has a stinker of a night, you lose in this league. The odds were totally against us. You can play great and lose a game. It happens all the time. Personally looking back at this series, it should be over with Tampa winning 4 games to 1. Vassy will only get stronger and clutch as series progresses.
