  1. For all of YouTube's faults, at least their existence has made it so that the stalwarts of Vancouver sports broadcasting still have a platform. Everything has gone so corporate now. All the institutions I came to rely on as a kid, like CKNW, TEAM 1040, Muchmusic and others were completely destroyed by corporatism. There are very few examples of true local radio anymore. They're all owned and operated out of Worst Case Ontario. And they wonder why the western provinces take issue with that province.

    I lived around The Utica area during that Calder Run.. Jacob Markstrom carried that team on his back! The dude was white hot! Just couldn't do it all by himself in the end.
    That team stunk otherwise!

  3. Hog doesn't have enough skill to be on the second line, but isn't grindy or physical to play on the third line. His role is undefined on the Canucks…
