  1. Here’s to stress free wins for the remainder of the playoffs!…….well we can hope lol

  2. Edmonton has yet to show "sweep the leg" killer instinct…if this series went to 7 games in double or triple OT I would not be surprised in the least….I hope I'm wrong. LEts see a 4-1 game 6 win fella's!!!!!!! End it!!!!!!!!

  3. NO PRESSURE?…Saturday will be a really tough game to win for the Oilers. THEY MUST WIN IT !!! No Excuses. They will face three even better teams. Prove your worth now.

  4. McDavid needs to be better in the defensive zone. 2 goals against them while he was on the ice that he could have stopped.
Isn't it nice that the ref stopped calling diving plays by LA players? Fiala felt down like he was run over by a train when McDavid tap him.

  5. Dave and Bruce, If we do not clean up our defensive mistakes/lapses we will not go far. We seem to be making very VERY simple coverage mistakes, especially Bouchard and Nurse, including some of our stars ie McDavid. IMO the coach needs to use our 3/4 line players on the PK more, give the stars the last 30 seconds or so. Also, great move by Woodcroft to move Yamo down, its about time! He's finally seeing the light. Plays have been dying on Yamos stick, too small for the top 6 role. Kostin or Holloway should be considered for that spot. I hope Woodcroft keeps Yamo on the 4th line the rest of the way should we get pass LA on saturday night, no time to fool around or experiment with the lines, we need players who can make a difference in the top 6. .

  6. After Zach got hit in the face he was leaning over and an LA player gave him a shove after he was clearly disabled.

  7. Gretzky had Kurri taking the defensive zone duties and offside face-offs, which is why his weaknesses in his own zone were never an issue. The problem both McDavid and Draisaitl have is when they play together often neither of them takes the middle in their own zone. If we're going to pretend McDavid is the center when those two are together he needs to take the middle.

  8. What are you talking about? Edmonton doesn't have the elite goal tending like the Oilers' goalies in the 80s? Skinner and Campbell are 10x better than Moog and Fuhr. Just look at their stats.

  9. It's sure been tough at times, for the Oilers to get that puck cleared out of their end, man, almost always ends up a close call or a goal. Would feel a lot better if they could clear it out sooner than later

  10. The main problem is LA's ice is horrible and slushy. It prevents Oilers from making good plays.

  11. Kane just needs to realize he can't beat the house at blackjack because he doesn't count cards.

  12. Aside from my usual comment — that I love the insight and language of this podcast — I 100% agree that cheering for any player being hurt is majorly uncool. Everybody on the ice is a person before they play for "your" team or the other.

  13. What's with the weird background behind Staples? Looks like he is in a spaceship.

  14. If you walk away walk away, walk away walk away, Iafollo. Anyway… Oilers decided that maybe playing a game without taking several idiotic penaltys while backchecking might be rewarded with a large win. If they had just played every game this way, this series would be over. LA isn't going to quit so Oil better prepared to battle from here on out, or this will be headed to a game 7. What an excellent series.

  15. Staples looking up naked black guys on the internet with his wife… Cuck of Hockey

  16. David’s major mistake analysis of Kulak at 1 and all other defence men at 7 to 15. Nice work David.
And the fact that you surprised Bruce with numbers! Bravo David bravo!!

  17. The pass from McLeod to Kulak was such a beautiful play!! McLeod is becoming an elite third line centre!! At 6'2", 207lbs McLeod is bigger and stronger than many would guess, he's also one of the fastest skaters in the NHL!!!💪😊
