Trust me, it's typical rangers making 3rd strings look like the next Hasek… Schmid against any other team in the league and he'll literally go back to being AHL standard… His rebound control is not good, he has a weak low blocker and what a surprise… RANGERS DOES nothing to try and counter this…. Schmid is living rent-free in their heads now thinking they need a perfect shot to beat him lol…. Powerplay doing 10 extra passes instead of getting it low or shooting and ends up giving away a shorty… story of rangers since forever aswell… Rangers offense is 70% Panarin and 20% fox for the last 2 years and if Panarin doesn't show up (which he usually doesn't in playoffs) Team is dead offensively.. Devils in 6 GG…
I am a new Devils fan, what has been the adjustment the Devils coach has done to neutralize the rangers?? How can you go from allowing 10 goals in 2 games to 2 goals in 3 games??

Igor with zero hesitation after a great save on yet another quality chance skating to the far bench to yell at his teammates is one of the best things I have seen in ages. The fact that they did not respond after that suggests that either they 1) have no heart left 2) have no strategy for how to overcome the NJ style of play…which would fall on the coach. Big question is which is it

The way the Devils completely dominated this one reminded me a lot of the March 30th game. I thought the Devils completely outclassed the Rangers during that final regular season matchup, with the only real mistake being a Sharangovich turnover in the D-zone leading to the lone Kreider goal

I went to MSG as a Devils fan for Game 3 – the way the crowd gave up after the Devils tied it up was remarkable. Legitimately felt like the Rangers were conceding the series in up 2-0 and in overtime of game 3. Will be interesting to see if the Devils can keep this style and intensity for the rest of the Playoffs.

Rangers lost Game 3 because of the refs. Shesterkin should not have been called for a penalty. Which led to them winning in OT. Timo meier laid on top of shesterkin like a walrus and he pushed him off naturally as he should have. What a bullcrap penalty. The refs won them that game in game 3. I’ll die on that hill.

Seattle and New Jersey both play lock down defense against high powered offenses. This years Stanley Cup playoffs are looking like a defensive mindset.
TL;DR: The Rangers quit. Never seen a team give up and fold so easily than these guys. Zero fight in NY. I'm not even sure i'm going to watch Game 6 (of course I will) because i am not too hot on the idea of watching them get blown out at home, cashed out of the post season and booed off the ice but honestly it is what this collection of talented ice skaters deserves. Softer than babyshit.
