You can complain all you want about international officiating and the tight standard for supplementary discipline, but that’s a 5 min major/game misconduct with a suspension every single time in an IIHF tournament. The NHL could take a page from their book. https://t.co/ZjEEQ1LbSD

So is a hearing ruled out because they didn’t do it this morning or can they still hold one?
Fire up the Derminator, don’t even give him a stick or gloves, because his only job is to beat Eberle until he can’t finish the game.
They can do whatever they want to.
It’s new information about an “injured player”. We know if a player gets hurt there is a “suspension”, even if the referees don’t call it a “major” penalty.
It’s pathetic. That was an easy major and 5 game suspension. Literally one of the dirtiest hits you can do
I am just glad he didn’t somehow injure himself More when he played the third. One hit could have actually paralyzed him.
Now, hear me out. Sure, cogs got hit. Buuuuuut did you not see Lars cheating on the final face off? That’s just fucking ludicrous. How could the NHL let that happen?! That’s a travesty and has no business happening in this league, as it completely swung the game. The replay of that face-off should be a priority in the off season league meetings this summer.
Parros on call with Bettman to protect the nhl’s golden child
Anyone with a single eye can take one look at that hit and know how dangerous it is. Even someone who’s never watched hockey.
Who knows what the 4 eyes on the ice were thinking. Don’t know how many eyes are employed at DOPS but I know they are lead by a brainless goon.
The IIHF is all no-nonsense when disciplining players who dish out dirty hits. Eberle would have been given a five, an ejection, and at least a one game suspension if this were an international tournament.
Cogliano fractured neck and shithead gets nothing? 🦆 this league
