I don't think the Jets need to rebuild or retool, they need to "remodel" the team. For the last several years, they've had really good months during the regular season that put them in a playoff spot, but the rest of the year they're mediocre. It seems like every season there is a ton of hype surrounding the Jets come playoff time, and I've never understood what their fans are getting excited about. This is just my opinion, but the players don't look like they care when they lose or start getting close to missing the playoffs.
I don't believe the fans need to suffer through a rebuild just because that's the trendy thing to do. The GM needs to make hockey trades to get the current roster out of there and bring-in guys who are going to give 100% regardless of what the score is. Otherwise, you're stuck with a roster that has basically taught itself how to lose. But, I guess that's the downside of having 32 teams in the league: You don't have 32 GMs who actually know how to make a decent "hockey trade", they just trade for picks and say "good enough".

Total overhaul of the core in Winnipeg. Only Connor is untouchable in the top 6. Chevy has overstayed his welcome and a new GM will be needed to start this rebuild. For a team facing elimination this was a pathetic attempt by the Jets.
Vegas will probably get crushed by the oilers next round. This series had the least amount of talent

I can only watch the hockey guy for hockey content. Everyone else is far to reactionary and spastic in the playoffs. Creators need to chill. I'm like adding most to the don't recommend channel list because it's really hard to take anyone seriously. Thanks Shannon for being the rock.
I don't think the Jets ever had a real shot in this series. Their locker room is a mess, Wheeler and Sheifele need to go for this team to succeed. I've heard too many reports of the leadership being toxic, which is a real shame. Helle is a great goaltender who deserves better

Even if Dubois takes his qualifying offer, next season is the last for all of them in Winnipeg – UFAs in 2024. It's time for a change. Winnipeg has really fallen off, 5 years ago they were Canada's best hope for a Cup, now they lost to Helle's backup. I think Wheeler and Dubois are done. Unreal

So with the Jets Out this means something for me in Milwaukee my Admirals Play there Moose in the first round of the AHL playoffs and who if anyone do the Jets send down to try and win that series Nashville send down 9 guys Luke Evangelista being a big one he had 15 goals in 24 games with Nashville so yeah I was kind of in a way pushing for the jets to win here
After that first goal I knew the Jets where done.

Hated seeing Kessel as a healthy scratch but Carrier HAS to play. He started and had a nice hit in the first few seconds. Paired with Roy and Kolesar makes a big, tough line that is very hard to play against. All are plus +/- players all year.
The jets shouldnt have even been in the playoffs anyway.

The Jets got a spot in the playoffs due to the Flames' instability. Since Winnipeg had two good players during the regular season and they lost both, it was expected.

So much disrespect shown my jets. I have no respect for Vegas. I mean really for them to have the pedals removed from the exercise bikes in the jets dressing room. Even during the season when jets played Vegas they didn’t give nets on the ice for jets practice there. Really that’s how Vegas operates.
I’m surprised so many people seem to be sleeping on Vegas in the overall playoff picture… I think with Stone, Carrier, and Theodore back (as well as their incredible depth and the way Brossoit’s been playing) they have a good chance of beating whoever wins the Oilers-Kings series and going on a run
