    The faced a team that is MUCH better than the season standings would have you think… FL was the Presidents Cup winner last year and Tkachuk was added. Boston spent too much energy to get the best record and presidents cup…..
    They got beat by a better team, they learned from last season and wanted it bad this season.
    If Boston gets the Islanders in first round, its probably a 4 game sweep….

    Sportsnet, your Brutal. What do you care? Listening to you during playoffs is totally BRUTAL. Sportsnet had the Bruins missing the playoffs at the beginning of the year, had Ottawa finishing ahead of them.

    I know what caused Boston to loose. They got scared knowing they would play Toronto in the next round. They lost focus and got distracted by Leafs

    The season is long and the Bruins won 65 games…the playoffs are such a grind…add 16 more wins to that total to win the Cup on top of how many more games played in the playoffs….so hard to keep that pace

    Montgomery was out coached and the players forgot the basics.too many men blocking the goalies sight and playing the puck more than the man

    Boston now is talk of choke town over Toronto for blowing 3-1 series lead. Tampa is now cursed by Boston's 12 min comeback 3 goals in 12min against Toronto. Tampa replaced Toronto record by 10min 30 sec to choke. So Leafs are free and passed it to Boston and Tampa Bay 😂😂😂😂😂 Now all those Toronto haters, eat that😮😂😂😂😂

    All those points made were obviously not around when they won the most games in a season of all time. I think chasing that record cost them the first round. All the pressure was on them and off Florida.

    As a Bruins fan, I feel there is a correlation between bumps in the road faced during the regular season and how well a team will fare in the playoffs. Florida just barely made it in, while Boston pretty much never experienced losing throughout the year. The Panthers played with desperation, while the Bruins seemed to play with fear due to the pressure.

    This loss genuinely hurt more than watching them lose in the cup final in 2019, because in 2019 nobody questioned Bergeron returning.

    The main culprit is Montgomery(kept on scratching players left and right) , next is Ullmark(Mr.Vezina couldn't stop a beach ball ,how embarrassing) and the rest of the team had assists on about 12 Panthers' goal .They should all feel ashamed . If the bruins couldn't win with this club when will they be .PS Marchand is the only NHL player that everytime he jumps on the ice he is as much an asset as a handicap for his team. Who needs him .

    Nothing went wrong just to break the giant ego's of the B's and their fans, the entire NHL conspired to throw games and then have them lose in the first round. 🤣

    The Bruins need a new Bobby Orr – style defenseman who can control the tempo of a game, not just rushing up the ice willy-nilly trying to score with a "run what ya brung" type of offense. That and the NHL needs to move the blue lines back to where they were in 1993.

    I will tell you what went wrong they choked! They had a 3 to 1 lead and blew it. To the Bruins, Avs, and Tampa, now i just need Vegas. To go golfing Go Oilers Go.

    As someone that loathes the Bruins, this has put and extra spring in my step. I mean B fans have the last laugh on me as they won in 2011 and I’m still bitter.

    I think injuries and having a bad matchup in Florida was the x-factors of the series. I didn't watch the games, but I heard a lot of Boston/Florida fans mention that the Panthers gave the Bruins a lot of trouble in their regular season matches. Ullmark coming down with an injury(?), Bergeron being out probably also screwed them over.

    Despite all this though, there should be no excuses for how badly they played the last 3 games. A week ago, people remembered this as one of the greatest teams ever assembled and a week later it's now up there with the 2019 Lightning as one of the worst failures in SPORTS history. Probably the worst thing about this for Boston fans is how they are going to be absolutely decimated by the pending free agents, lack of cap space, and their core aging it up. This was their last shot at a championship and they went out in the worst possible fashion

    Ive never seen so many bounces go one teams way. Frustrating to watch. I swear Florida capitalized on every turnover, every missed assignment, every inability to clear the zone. The Bruins were their own enemy. You add the assists Bertuzzi gave Florida and he's leading the league in scoring! It was difficult to watch the Bruins score highlight reel goals (Pastrnak, Debrusk game 6) and see the garbage that Ullmark was letting in. Extremely disappointing. Its right up there with Washington 2012 (the Holtby show with Joel Ward), Montreal 2014 (the series of a million posts) as two of the tougher series to watch. I may have swore more in this series because of the poor quality of goals Florida scores while we had to work hard for ours. Last games of Bergeron, Krejci makes this sting a little more. The rebuild will be rough. Can we afford to match an offer sheet for Swayman?
