Leafs fan here. It’s astonishing to me that no one sees that the Bruins simply peaked early.
Soft team
Their regualr season playstyle does not translate to playoff hockey. The Panthers were the same last year. They had to learn a new playstyle this year, thus the drop in wins this year. People thought Boston's roster was better. Truth is its not. The Panthers physicality, their speed and backchecking were just to much for Boston.
I'm a Habs fan , this is the greatest elimination I've see the bruins suffer in my 53 years of watching this team this is better than 1979 and the other countless deceptions they've had… wow what a satisfaction especially after bragging all year with that fakerecord they so called broke… 9shootout victories shouldn't count in 1977 there were no shootouts or else montreal would have had 75 wins and also there were only 80 games… but don't worry bruins fans next year you'll have another competitive REGULAR season as usual no matter who's in the lineup , that's always the bruins way… Seeeeeyaaaaa
