Hopefully all these days off close together are enough to get McDavid healthy, since he really needs to be able to drive his own line this time of year. Draisaitl's lines have been generating more 5 on 5 goals without McDavid than with him anyways, and getting them both going seperately will put way more consistent pressure on the VGK.
Leon better be sobered up and ready to play real Playoff hockey now as in the Full Contact kind….Luckiest Series win ever in Edmonton against the Kings….talk about coming into the 2nd Round on wobbly feet….Leon will have to outscore a Rookie Goalie who basically gave away game 6 …. and a Head Coach who is lost in Space….Ive seen Oilers Dynasty Teams go through these growing pains before….Connor or Leon cannot just take turns to do it all themselves thats never been how Stanley Cups were won….Reffs call for Leon one night then for Connor the next night…..its really not fun to watch…the Kings were killing it 5×5 which is what real hockey is all about but the Refs decided to turn it into a Special Teams Series to favor the Oilers….People dont watch a 3 hour game just to see a cheesy Penalty call followed by the Oilers Powder-Puffs scoring an automatic PP goal…..we do not watch games to see them all end that way.
