It's a sad state of affairs when I'm happy seeing our head coach put our own team on blast
Get rid of wheeler! I said it on this channel 2019 when it was unpopular to say it. Now I’m saying get rid of schiefle too. Get rid of this goon squad. Trade the lot except Connor, ehlers, and Dubois. Get laine back. Find an absolute stud to lead the team with the cap space.

I stopped watching 2 mins after vegas scored their 1st goal, i knew jets folded and had no chance, better be big changes this off season but i doubt not much will change. jets have way too much loyalty to players and staff
I had slight hopes for game 5 because Ehler's was back, but after that 2nd goal, I was done for the night lol. I'm with Bowness; I'm disappointed and disgusted. We need change and we need it come next season! No ands, if's or buts. The Jets organization needs to step up! What a way to end the series. Pathetic!
I wasn't sure about bones when he was announced, but this season he's shown me that he's an amazing coach. He showed he cared about the players, wanted to help them however he could, and it showed when they were top of the west around christmas, but then the stubborn players who didn't listen to PoMo stopped playing to the playstyle that got them to that spot, and in a matter of a few months were clawing for a playoff spot. the eye roll back a few weeks was legendary, and this just puts the cherry on top of bones' performance this season. If Chevy won't let bones toss some problems, then chevy needs to go because if we don't get rid of them, we'll have no more success next year.
Nice to hear straight talk from the coach. I had exactly the same thought when I was watching the game. They played the same sloppy way from Feb. Yup. Truth.
And to cap it off, Eyssimont, a guy we let walk, has a banger of a game last night in Toronto. Tired of seeing young talent get let go and then excel on other teams. Could include Kovicevic there too.
Déjà vu, isn’t this a repeat of last year when Stastny ripped the Jets players & leaders? Last off season was status quo, so I wouldn’t be shocked if True North doesn’t make many changes.

Feel like paul maurice was obviously in charge for too long. He got good result out of the team at times but when it appeared he wouldnt get fired no matter what players seem like they got too comfortable not taking accountability for poor performance it gets to a point where mediocrity shouldnt be accepted and praised. Usually a coach has a long run or leash because of past major success. Cant blame maurice or even chevy entirely i blame chipman for not maning up and taking charge of his organization when they are almost at rock bottom multiple times. Ex the collapse this season and the major problem/collapse in the lockerroom in 2019 when the entire right defense walked out the door. Organization needs change and has since 2019 funny how seems like the only reason change will happen under chipman is when hes absolutely forced to by the fanbase and player contracts expriring. Love following this team give me a reason to be hopeful and excited is all i want

When a “players coach” puts you on blast it clearly shows the issues that have been going on before bones got there. Some of the players lacked accountability and were allowed to get away with lack of effort and not rising to the occasion or not pushing back when there was adversity

When I first heard this post game interview, I was in shock Bones did this but honestly, he ain't wrong at all and loved that he did this! hopefully this is a wake up call to those who truly want to play for Winnipeg and play their hearts out for Winnipeg and for the ones who don't want to play for Winnipeg to just leave/request a trade! like you said, I sure hope there are some huge off-season moves to get this team on track as well to be even better than this season because I really do think that can happen! and Winnipeg has great talent but their top players played like absolute garbage in the playoffs, like they didn't want to be there…like game 5 against vegas had to be literally the laziest game I've ever seen the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg jets franchise play with the talent they have for this year's team. like I had to shut the game off after the Vegas' 3rd goal…smh
and with how Bones reacted in the post game interview, I think it's starting to make sense on why Maurice resigned in the middle of last season….which is extrememly rare for a coach to do, especially a coach like Maurice!
I know that Maurice is a great coach and just beat Boston last night, which was awesome and happy for him, and can be very blunt at times with his players, but bones took it to a whole new level with this interview and sure hope this is a wake up call for all of the players on the team for the offseason getting ready come October!
This is an NHL franchise that's perfect for developmental prospects, bottom sixers and journeymen who don't mind where they play their final days out.
Young millionaire's, especially high profile stars want for greener pastures because as a city Winnipeg has really nothing to offer in terms of the high life. And those that are from the city know winters there are brutal.
I would like Wheeler, Scheif and Dubois to leave and would run with the prospects on the club.
This team also needs to add more toughness and grit to the mix, the club is too Euro style free wheeling shinny and not enough North American style bump n grind dump n chase.

As far as guys I'd like to see on jets
If can move guys like Wheeler,Hellebuyck,Pionk,Stanley, Scheifele,Ehlers,Schmidt,Dubois,ect get picks or players like these.
Forwards-Toews,Schenn,OReilly,Staal, Barzal,Reinhart,Konecny,Wilson,Schmaltz,Jenner,Laughton, maybe guys like Lafreneire/Kuznetsov
Personally I put Toews and some older players because can line them in Center and put Lucius/Lambert/young guys on wing and clearly current jets don't know what takes to win be a pro. It's better show prospects in a correct way. I'd even be down bring Gagner as 4th line teach kids if didn't get injured.
Defence- Sanheim,Byram,Parayko,Provorov,Schneider,Hamonic,Pulock,Zadorov,Severson,Edmundson,Stone.
Obviously I'd like a top guy play with Morrissey not demelo and some guys from here or prairies but you can't tell me Stone is worse then guy like Capobianco or a 7th dman.
Or even guys like Bowey,Keeper,could be depth Moose guys

Goalies If lose Hellebuyck will leave big hole I'd like to see Reimer as either backup or tandem with maybe a Andersen or if trade helly say Detroit a guy like husso/said goalie back.
As far as draft I don't believe anymore pick best player avaliable… Kane,Trouba,PLD,Stanley,Laine,Roslovic,I know copp didn't demand trade said would want to play for hometown, we are smaller/cold/taxed/higher crime canadian market I would draft or only get players from northern Ontario to BC unless prior to draft/trade/UFA they were proud were jersey/make millions and be part of team try hard every night.

Also Chevaldayoff has been here since 2011 I wish would move on even know unlikely. There's better GMs out there but I'm not sure guys like Darche,Mellanby,Whitney,Weekes,Granato,would leave Tampa or better places come here people say CammiGranato would be first women
And Weekes first black GM. I personally would want a guy not Hextall but like him work along side bowness maybe make Bowness assistant GM/Coach and fix team/organization.
Last thing I want from Chipman is more complaining ticket sales or threat relocate,legacy contracts to same old core. People forget scheifele has been here and Wheeler some others since 2011 we didn't have a logo yet when drafted him they treat players like family and not a NHL team. And same with management.
Don't want guys like AJF,Stenlund,Menalainen,kuhlman,Neidereitter,Namestnikov taking positions away from prospects. Or if heinola or whoever young dmen Aquire not have Stanley,Samberg,Schmidt keep young players from growing. It's a waste even a guy like Chisholm should get look as 7th/8th dman.
