Slightly reassuring that apparently our entire roster was barely alive come playoffs?
Zuccs, Hartman, and Freddy all playing through bad injuries. EK had a broken fibula. Man, we were lucky to get to Game 6 lmao.
Insane that Gaudreau was somehow our top scorer despite a 4 month surgery level issue. Dude really gave his all for the team
To anyone saying this excuses our playoff performance, every team is dealing with injuries like this come playoff time. Whoever wins the cup will inevitably have players who have played through injuries and all of the details will come out after the season. Ek was a huge loss no doubt, but the rest of these are things that players end up playing through on any cup run.
He is known as « Clutch Freddy » in our house. Still clutch even though he was seriously injured.

I scratch what I said in another post about needing to take it to another level to have playoff success.
