Average Bawlston Boohooin fan
For context – this was on the Bruins subreddit, discussing who to root for in round 2
Bruins fan here, but more importantly a hockey fan in general who wants to see an exciting series AND is excited about people caring more and more about hockey in “non hockey areas”.
Fuck this guy. I know Bruins fans can be annoying as hell esp online, but do know there are a lot of Bruins fans who are rooting for you guys now, myself included. FLA played with true grit against Goliath and deserves to go all the way after that.
Fuck the leafs, and Panthers in 4. Or 5. Or 6…or 7….idc just eliminate them!
Since you didn’t include the poster’s name, I can just assume it was Scott Tenorman who posted that.
So much ongoing BUTTHURT
Sounds like a sore loser.
Imagine losing a 3-1 series to « frauds. »
You’ll hear the original 6 BS from the losers. As a Bolt fan, I know!
Go Panthers! Bring the cup back to Florida! Have a boat parade while the losers up North complain about “traditions”
Edit: their chat is “Blow Leafs Blow” not “go Leafs go”
Bolts fan here, northern elitists can suck our collective Florida-man balls
P.S. I’m hopping on the Cats bandwagon if you all will have me 🙂
Ahh yes they are the true fans because their team has been around for 300 hundred years or something. Must be pretty infuriating being beaten by us poor “rednecks” down here
As a Bolts fan; Im so tired of the people shitting on Florida when it comes to hockey, let it go already… its getting old 🙄Get over it! Panthers go kick some ass tonight.
Unfortunate but, people can change.
I used to be a piece of shit. Spiked blonde hair, itty bitty jeans, chicken spaghetti at Chickalini’s.
People can change.
Your cousin from Boston
My experience with a lot of Panthers fans for years was « transferred from one of the northern states and went « oh shit there’s a hockey team here, let’s go cats » ».
That said, fuck this guy. I haven’t been in South Florida for some time now, but watching this team and this fan base from afar? It seems like support has been steadily growing. Especially these past couple of years the team has been truly good. Hell just look at the arena during game 6 against Boston. Also a bunch of rednecks? Homie you’ve clearly never been to Broward or Dade County.
It’s always sunny in Boston? 🤔
I hope they have a good off-seetheson
Hockey fans are the only sports fans that get genuinely upset at the prospect of the sport growing. And they wonder why it the least popular professional sport in north America.
I’d like to say that my father in law helped start youth hockey in South florida (ironically they are from Boston). My husband and my sister in law played here growing up. My husband was the first person ever to score a hat trick in the Panthers Arena. My sister in law is a goalie, still!!! None of the season ticket holders are just some florida rednecks…we have supported this team for yearssssss.. some of us longer than others. Through good, through bad, we have seen it all and we buy tickets year after year, cheering them on… so my suggestion to Boston fans… if you want to support your team… let’s start at not booing them while they play… and maybe focus your energy on them doing well… cause your vibe is killing your momentum… mic drop.. I’m out
Average Boston Sports Fan with a shrine to Tahm Brady and a voodoo doll of Eli Manning stained in tears.
Someone’s salty!
Also, I love their explanations on why Tkachuk is terrible/dirty player and we should be ashamed as if they don’t have Marchand on their team.
Florida bros stand together
I was sitting next to this guy for game 4
I feel like Boston is Nicolas Cage and Florida and Leafs are Pedro in the car meme. FL and Leafs are just happy to be here.
