   I’m not familiar with the ELC contracts, but will this use a year of his ELC or will it get pushed a year?

   I don’t understand not putting him in the AHL. is he too young? I know there’s a certain age you have to be to play AHL or you go back to major junior for CHL prospects.

   Would love to see him in the AHL instead of SHL if possible. Nothing against the SHL but it seems like the baby Canucks finally have their shit together in terms of developing prospects instead of just trying to win.
