Paul Maurice is wrong for his 5 to 1 commentary, but I think he knows. He’s just trying to work that penalty differential a little more in his favor.

I felt the exact way Adam described. No pressure, relaxed almost like it was just another game. Obviously that’s not the case but that weight of the round one failures was huge. The team needs to keep the pedal down tho. Stop that Tkachuk line and I think we will be fine

Diversity should not be the Primary selector for the game of Hockey. The reason players like PK Subban play in the NHL is because he HAD THE SKILL. If you try to put people in the NHL because they're gay/black/trans, the NHL WILL fail. Put the best players on the ice, it should not matter what skin colour, or sexuality is.
as far as leaf fans going in to this round, i can tell you the mind set. the first rounds we've been going into the train of thought was hope. this round which is odd and unfamiliar for most, is more relaxed and , lets see what happens kind of thing.

Your blind hate of sutter is hilarious… Sam Bennett was traded a month after Sutter arrived in Calgary so if Bennett was so good, it’s treliving that pulled the trigger. As an oiler fan, I’m happy they fired sutter, Calgary is gonna become jets 2.0 with no player accountability.

I mean… If we're being honest and realistic for a minute, this has absolutely nothing to do with the NHL not reaching out to certain communities… It's the fact that minor hockey is so horrifyingly expensive compared to every other sport both in terms of equipment and league fees, especially in big cities where you might have hundreds of teams fighting over the limited icetime.
It’s been proven that Seattle and Vegas are cash cows along with both Canadian Markets I don’t understand why the NHL is screwing over these times!

I will say this, re: Panthers, I live in South Florida and there is a passion for the game here. The numbers may not be there consistently, but the fans that do pay attention are rabid and it’s the most diverse I’ve seen. Which on its own is exciting. I went to the playoff games while the Bruins were here and it was electric. Also, Sunrise is a way better option than Miami. The people who watch and care will be more up here. Maybe go to Ft Lauderdale, but it would be worse off in Miami.

What is Trouba suppose to do?
My starting answer: Take the puck. Timo’s head is down which is why Trouba is so “easily” able to land thing destructive hit.
With Timo’s head being down he is much less aware of hisbsurroundings, if we took the hit out of the rules, due to the head contact, then the chances of a poke check, stick lift, or the like working is much higher
Now taking the puck would have lower chance of success of working for Trouba here, but it should be easier than normal, much like this but was easier to land than normal due to Timo’s head bending down
What I didn't like from the Trouba hit was that he went out of his way to destroy Meier, probably out of frustration. Meier was already covered by 2 Rangers, that was unnecessary. At least he didn't extend the elbow this time, so I guess that's progress.
