If the Kings were to replace their current head coach and general manager with better ones, it's likely that the team's performance would improve.

I'm not usually one to get on the coaching staff and management but this go around I couldn't help but notice our defense not owning that blue line per usual. If you look at alot of the goals given up, way too much space was been given. We owned the Oilers in the regular season and alot of that was due to the defense which I felt was missing in this playoffs.
Another thing was the lack of lines 2 thru 4 except for Iafallo. Not saying there weren't moments that lines shined but obviously not enough for the playoffs. True fire was Kempe. And the fact that not much changed in each game leads me to coaching. In fact I recall the commentary on numerous events saying either this is not the Kings I've seen or why are they giving so much room to them. They were also mentioning why they staying with man on man if it's not working but we all know that man on man are due to the Draisaitl/McDavid show. Man on man is not our usual.
Next is not just to mention why no Copley and everyone stating I could see why he could of been put in net. Now why wasn't he switched in from game 3 on? Worried what that might do to Korpi's confidence? Smh it's the playoffs, pull em. And what does this do to Copley's confidence? And in terms for next year? For a guy that always been passed up. For a guy that might be giving you his best to shine and you bring in someone end of year, thanks Copley but you can sit this one out, we went and got Korpi, but great playing to get us here. Smh some people I swear. Just saying id be frickin stewing with that smile.
And to everyone still fussing over the Quicky ordeal, read between the lines Quicky wanted more years and by his numbers we obviously couldn't, so we gave him a chance to continue. Obviously not the way anybody wanted it. And it really just soured because it was media leaked right before Blake and all was able to meet and discuss and I'm talking a plane ride away. And truthfully, if Quicky wants more years, he wants more years. No talking him off that soapbox. And I love the guy for everything he's done and what he meant as a King, but I don't see any other way. 😢
Yeah we gained something in these playoffs, not sure exactly what. And from what I've gained from all the post interviews, neither does anybody else. Gentleman, still missing an identy crisis in full swing it is.
