It sucks that this is a common reflection with Willy. Just be the best always… FFS
He was absolutely dominant in the second half of the game. Did absolutely everything but score.
I don’t care what anyone says, Bobrovsky will not maintain a .944 Sv% through the entire series.
Leafs in 7.
Him and Marner need to finish. 2 goals in 8 games combined for guys who combined for 70 goals in the regular season. We’re going nowhere with that kind of production.
Bench him. Why is he defended so much. “Shows what’s he’s capable of”. Let’s see it then. Jesus bench this slug. I’m sick of watching him sandbag every game.
Bobrovsky was the best player on the ice. But, Nylander was flying out there, definitely the best skater.
Nylander is by far our best playoff player next to Matthews, but I don’t feel like he’s given the same support as Matthews at all. We should be utilizing him a lot more.
He’s gotta play harder. He doesn’t skate if he doesn’t have the puck.
Overconfident Leaf fans with 0 realistic optimism in their blood.
Willy straight up looks like McDavid on occasion the way he can dance with the puck.
Willys been unbelievable these playoffs. Seems at times like he’s the only one trying to score. O Reilly and Marner have been excellent too
He seems to be the most unphased guy on the ice throughout both series. Nylander is built for the playoffs – hope the others can take after him a little bit in the next game.

He may have been but there were times he just tried to do it all himself and gave up the puck instead.
They look scared. This fine may calm the Panthers down. Now he is on the Refs radar, no more recless antics. I still say… bring in the Wayne train.
I see lots of « he’s amazing » and lots of » he’s a chicken » kind of comments about William Nylander.
Dubas said it best when he said he’s a player that amazes you one second and infuriates you the next. Obviously I’m paraphrasing but it’s so very true.
Everyone is right. He’s all of that! What he isn’t is tough enough to dig deep in the playoffs.
I’ll move Nylander if that money can sign ROR++.
I thought his first two periods were his worst of the playoffs but that third is probably the best of his career. Need that aggressive Willy.
So, after his brutal play resulted in the game tying goal Nylander was the best player on the ice. He looked great but didn’t get that goal back. Still a net negative.
