Gonna be surprised if Bennett even gets suspended IMO. He already has the fine on the crosscheck, but I don’t think he’s gonna get anything other than a slap on the wrist for what happened with Knies.
Funny to see Toronto fans whine and complain about this after telling us off for doing the same last series when we had MULTIPLE injuries happen on non-calls and not just one.

I think it funny they’re turning this into a controversy.At best they both get called for a penalty. Knies tries to hit Bennett but misses. This causes him to get tangled up with him, when we starts falling it literally wraps both his legs around Bennetts. In return Bennett extends his arms to burry all his weight into him when he falls. Holding on Knies & Roughing on Bennett.
What’s even more ironic was that Lafferty did the exact same to Gudas a little earlier. Only difference was Lafferty did it a lot harder. https://youtu.be/cukCKXVimAk
At the end of the day Knies is a college player that got punished for trying to make a move on a veteran NHL player. Don’t write checks you’re body can’t cash, welcome to the NHL.
