Oettinger knows Granato, too, and recognized how beneficial the pairing would be.

   >“Just getting back with Donny, he’s going to be able to push Jordan like I don’t think any other coaches can,” Oettinger said. “Knowing him when he was younger and having that familiarity, he’ll be able to get the most out of him.”

I think he really finds a way to bring out the best in guys and allow you to have some confidence when things are going bad, when things are going well. Just to come into a situation knowing that you have a guy who supports you and has the confidence that you do in yourself, it’s really nice.”

   If he can turn into a 20 goal scorer and use his size to be a pain in the ass Power Forward, that would be pretty hot

   Greenway scored more in the little time he was with us than he did the entire 3/4 of the season with minnesota

   When are we going to be good enough where we don’t need a reclamation project?

   That one game that he played against the Sabres, he was a giant pain in the ass for most of the game. I’d be happy with him playing like he did that night on a regular basis. If he gets some goals to go with it, he’ll be a force.

   I remember watching Greenway and Thompson in the WJC’s and thinking Greenway was going to be a future star and Thompson was going to be a 4th liner.
