2010 i still remember up 3-0 in the series richards hits Krejci breaks his wrist, then up 3-0 game 7… Boston ends up losing maybe the biggest blown series and how that game 7 went, krejci was like 12-2 vs them counting the 2011 sweep, that being said i still think that's what pushed them in 2011
I’m not worried about next year at all. We have a core already signed that is as good as anyone in the nhl. I am totally ok with Zacha and Coyle centering the top 6. They did fine the first 4 games of the playoffs. We need to sign Bertuzzi and I am ok with all the other UFA’s walking out to make space for him. We have 3 or 4 decent prospects in Providence that we can bring in at low salaries. I just hope they can bring in speed and grit. Also, let’s face it that Bergy and Krejci don’t have the gas to lead a team to the Stanley cup. We need to let the younger guys give it a shot . Same goes with Foligno and Hathaway. I’m not worried about losing Nosek either. I’m also ok if we trade Uhlmark to make more salary space. We can get back some of our draft picks for him.
They should've traded Pasta! They coul;d have gotten a boatload for him. He's nothing more than a regular season player. He's not a big-time player!! This team is going nowhere with this roster. What have been watching? Lindholm is a farce. McAvoy is over rated. This team will ONLY be a good regular a season team. Forget a cup. Not going to happen with this squad. Bye Bye Bergy and Krejci! Bruins aren't coming back to win a Cup next year. They will be lucky to make playoffs next year. I've been a Bruin fan for 50 plus years. This was the year. They will not win another cup in my life time unless I live to 100.
There is NO reason for hope. Over the past twenty years, the Bruins have lost seven Games 7s at home. If you can't win Game 7 on your home ice, there is no reason to have hope. The players change. The coaches change. But the home losses continue. As a lifelong Bruins' fan, I am done with this team.

I see the future of the Bruins to look a lot like the 90's Bruins….. We have one good O line, and one good D pair…. Outside of that its a all up in the air.
Offensively I guess they will be okay for next year. They have alot of pieces they could trade of interchange if they wanted to. Defensively the should retool. They showed in the playoffs they weren't ready to handle the playoff stage as a defense core. To much puck watching and losing their man in the defense zone.

As much as I love Ullmark/Swayman, they are no Tuuka or Thomas. This is why many wondered if our goalies could hold the playoffs pressure….I also wonder if the Bruins shot themeslves on the foot by acquiring the 3 extra players and ruined the team chemistry. They were having an amazing season without them. We'll never know and it doesn't matter.

I didnt moutn game 7. I mourned game 5. I knew what was headed our way. Been down this road so many times. The bruins are like a hot chick that cheats on me every May then calls me up in october. I call back in December n by January im hooked. I hate them. I love them n i hate them.
