Players in Calgary crying for a trade and blaming Sutter is their excuse for not performing better. Players don't want to play the right way or take accountability for their performance, or lack thereof. It doesn't help that Treliving made the Flames a lot softer and less skilled overall. If Flames even manage to make the playoffs next year,they'll be out in the first round anyways. The roster needs to see some major change going forward.
I pray the Canucks can move Miller, but the problem remains that Aquilini refuses to ever let the Canucks be anything other than mediocre forever. Soon we'll be hearing from Top Shelf Hockey about how Petterson and Hughes have requested trades.
Karlsson probably gets the Norris.
Montgomery should get the Jack Adams for the Bruins' success this season.
As far as the flames go, any team that pays that caveman Lucic 5 mil a year will always finish out of the playoffs. That guy is the worst player in the NHL but a wide margin.

The crybaby narrative needs to end. When the majority of the players, sevral members of management and coaching staff has a huge problem with the coach, it's not just one or two "crybabies." It's a toxic environment spurred on by a guy who's been driven out by teams (teams that he's won two cups with) before. A guy who spent his year playing games with the media and trying to make a point instead of win games
They want out! And In July and August fLames fans will be saying “flames won the trade” for the half of season* but they end up watching their former players success in playoffs 😆
