News flash. NJ is not the fastest team in the NHL. Carolina is.
I swear yall are ridiculous. They are young, and had a short break after the first round. The Devils aren’t “exposed” this is to be completely expected if you have half a brain. They’re gonna be completely fine once they find their feet and relax a little.
Jersey is a super young team that really overachieved this season and that's a good thing because this will be a great teaching lesson for them if nothing else. All great championship teams and star players have had to go through the tough times to learn what the playoffs are all about and its a different monster in a 7 game series. Jersey is definitely a skilled and fast team but they will need to add some size and grit to the roster down the road, you just have to have that in some form for the post season. Plus time will also allow those younger guys to grow and mature physically and mentally. Going through this experience will pay off in the end
The Canes aren't NYR!!
It is not because they are slow. It is Carolina’s defense breaking them down (hence them allowing the second fewest goals in the regular season)
The Canes are playing smart playoff hockey, more than can be said about the Leafs.
Brind’ Amore was great as a player, he’s even better at coaching.
This all boils down to one person, Rod the Bod. His system is all about speed and pressuring the puck, no time and space for the other team! We don’t have the all star offensive weapons like other teams especially with all the players we have out, but then again we never really have since he’s taken over as HC and yet we make the playoffs every year. Guys buy into his system and it works. I expect NJ to win 1,2 games but Carolina win the series. They have a very good chance to win the cup with our defense and Goaltending peaking at the right time of year.
Yes, my Devils have been shut down and look like they don't belong in round 2. Yes, this is different than the 0-2 in round one.
Carolina is well coached and works together very well as a team.
simple!!! have the refs make none of the holding and grabbing calls!! Maybe missing 2 boarding calls. Now 1 devil dman is hurt from it!! whatever!! canes look so 1995 out there!! lol
All of a sudden everyone loves the trap
Canes are slowing them down in the middle of the ice. Stop the speed before it gets started. If they don't slow them down in central ice then the devil's will be skating. Right bye them it's what the devil's did back in the 90s they called it the trap slow the speed down before it gets going. Can see the devil players don't know what to do
It doesnt help the Devils just had a grueling 7 game series with their arch rival, had one day off to travel to Carolina and be back on the ice the next day.
We will see what happens. Devils split the sseries in the regular season so they know they can beat them. Carolina def turned up t he heat in the playoffs which is evident. IF devils can at least come out with fire and pucn first that maybe enough to get the canes on their heals for a while.
1:52 "Nowhere" in this case is one word. Learn English.
Because they aren’t the fastest team in hockey. Edmonton is duh!
Great coverage
Canes in 6.
loved this video – always like learning more about counter strategies
5 v 5 the Rangers couldn't generate jack squat, this one feels a bit different
I will always root for the Devils. But they can't keep dropping a series 0-2.
Brother I love your content and I hit subscribe to see more of these videos. I enjoyed your breakdown of the teams and why CAR is so successful this series.
Carolina plays so much better hockey than the NY Rangers did and it's not even close. Rangers quit after game 3. Go Canes! Brind'amour is a GREAT coach!
Ha ha! Boneheaded psychology boy doesn’t realize my little cupcakes chose to go down 2-0 to lull the Candy Canes asleep while we knock them out of the second round. He’ll disavow this silly video once we’re in the Conference Finals. LET’S GO DEBS!!!
Speed = small ….. this is an axiom in the NHL known since it's inception ……. Big players who win perimeter battles and control the neutral zone are going to win …………. period …… that's just the law of physics ….. Take the Cats and Boston ….. the Cats played them like a water soaked wool blanket ….. Boston never had time to breathe …… The Canes are the same. Big boys who win battles. Very hard to beat …………….. in fact, if I were a betting man, which I am not, I would put my money on either the Canes or the Cats to win the Stanley Cup ….. they are big, win "battles" and tough as hell …………….. but…… Keep your on on the Oilers ……. Big, special teams wizards ….. oh, and big !!!!! LOL 🙂
Carolina just doesn't let the other team touch the puck. It's hard to use your speed when you never have posession of the puck.
The Devils (according to national broadcast) had the puck 53% of the time in game 2. Unfortunately for them most of that time it was in their own zone. Same broadcast said "its like there are 5 Brind'Amours on the ice" Tenacious fore check, sped through the neutral zone and active Defense in the O. Simple… on paper
I like both teams style of play & like most of there players & coaches. Even at 2-0 it hasn't been a bad watch. That said the Devils can come back. They're going home, they did this before, they're a good team, but the Hurricanes are not going to make the same mistake the Rangers did & try to run with the Devils. The Canes are going to play there way until the bitter end. It's uo to these upstart kids from Jersey to play the way they like to play. If this series isn't tied 2-2 after game four it's probably over in 5. If the Devils lose the series this season is still a success with valuable experience. If the Hurricanes lose this series the season is a letdown. The only successful season for the Canes is a Cup run after the previous 2-3 seasons playoff runs.
Can you teach Toronto how to slow Florida down? 🏒🍁☠️🍁🏒
Series doesn’t start till the home team loses
Straight up, Canes sweeping this series
you’ve been to a game recently haven’t ya?? your voice sounds a bit lost lol
