The most exciting play in hockey, the penalty shot. Would be insane if the game was tied or if the game was 1 goal away from a tie. Especially in OT.

This is why we need to let refs take 20 seconds to look at a replay and confirm if there was a penalty. The ref here didn't have a good angle, he just saw what could have been hooking or slashing and assumed it was. That was a perfect stick lift by Hamilton.
