   Winning those games at the end of the season cost us a guaranteed Top 3 pick. No Bedard, Fantilli or Carlsson because we won those games in a pointless season. That kinda hurts. Glad we didn’t drop further but we should’ve tanked hard like everyone else and guaranteed us a Top 3.

   Michkov is going to be best player available at #4 so they should pick him. Hoping it's not will smith or reinbacher

   San Jose should trade the 4 pick and EK and retain 15%. For 4 players high quality players

   This is a disgrace to the league. Chicago shouldn’t even have a pick this year or the next few. Arizona got punished worse than Chicago has.

   Frustration is remembering how I used to complain that the Sharks never made the cup round. Didn’t take long for me to see just how much I took all those playoff seasons for granted. Man I miss the Pavs, Thornton, Patty, Boyle, Clowe etc years. A few bad trades and here we are.

   I imagine it was rigged in some way by the hockey gods, and yet it will make for entertaining hockey and many Connor Bedard goals in the Sharks' net in the future. Chicago will monetize this asset and make some further hockey moves to get back in the line for Stanley Cup. It still takes 7 star forwards, 2 star defencemen, 1 great goalie, 10 role players and a great coach to become a Stanley Cup contender, not just one super piece like Bedard. Who else will Chicago add to Bedard and Seth Jones as their building blocks? Debrincat should return as UFA. It is odd that Chicago lost its best star players and then immediately replaces one of them with a next generation star. Maybe Chicago used black magic or supernatural spells to get this player and the sorcery will continue with further luck at the draft and in trades or UFA contracts. Chicago just proved itself the luckiest team in the league, and hockey really is a game of total luck and bounces.

   The team that people said the NHL would be rigged for… Ends up being the ONLY team that moves up and gets #1.

   It’s sort of similar to the Packers getting Brett Favre then Aaron Rodgers. Can the Sharks trade up to #2? Brodie at least you don’t have to worry about the Sharks relocating to LV.

   Rocky Wirtz does not deserve Connor Bedard, despicable organization

    Carlsson or Michkov will be the best player we’ve had since Jumbo. Not falling to 5th or 6th was a huge win. Even though we lost out on Bedard and Fantilli, we still get a franchise changing player
