  1. What would happen if Don Cherry survived the poppy outburst shouting that Kyle Dubas bullied Jews in his childhood at school? That would result in him resigning from the Leafs as GM and accusing Grapes of telling false rumours on HNIC.

  2. What hockey experts are you guys. Tampa should have bear the leafs. This leaf team is gutless and heartless. End of story

  3. I disagree they sucked in every game played a few minutes of good hockey here and there until mathews gets tough this will continue and marner was just done too much hockey during the reg season had nothing left

  4. Hmmm… what a difference a week makes. I watched your last show as a curious Panther fan. You both (like most Leafs fans) were in lala land! The win against the Bruins should've been your wake-up call. The Panthers are for real. Bruno, you basically dismissed the Panthers and still are to a certain extent. That's a tell tale sign of a blind ass fan. I wonder how many Panthers games you actually watched? Your "core-4" is being out-physicaled. It's that simple. At least Lepore had the sense of impending danger and was cautious though optimistic (as an intelligent fan should be) this would go 7 games. How say ye now? Still thinking 7 boys?

  5. Keefe is and has been the problem. He does not create an environment of confidence and creates tense teams 😢

  6. Like i said. When we won round 1 i wasnt that stoked because we got very lucky. Now we are getting exposed for what we really are and what this team is. I cant stand this core. No heart, no balls, no fuckin grit and toughness. I honestly want them to lose to we can finally change something big here. Im not even surprised at this point lmao.

  7. WE WANT FLORIDA (we want boston) WE WANT FLORIDA (we want boston).

Leafs were getting chucked into a blender either way, either facing the Presidents Trophy Bruins of this year, or the Presidents Trophy Panthers of last year.

But boy oh boy, have the Core 4 ever been absent. Maybe they play harder against Boston given how they finished….but I think Leafs/Leaf Fans forgot the Panthers were are a top to bottom team, saw that 8 seed, and ignored the fact that Florida has been playing playoff hockey since March.

Like its men playing vs kids, and the Leafs even were on the backfoot vs Tampa and got a couple lucky goals that turned the series in their favor, thats hockey, whatever the Leafs have been doing for 3 games ain't hockey.

    Done in 4.

  8. Kind of arrogant for you to demean the Panthers by saying how your can your team be losing to a wildcard team. If I’m not mistaken, the Panthers beat the Bruins 3 straight games and on the road to finish them off. Have some humility and give credit to a team playing better than yours.

  9. They were outplayed in the first round big time…Samsonov stole that one…2 of the 4 need to go …1… Tavares is too slow and won't hit… Nylander is hot and cold but won't hit, but he's cheaper, 3 Marner is super talented but won't hit but a good play maker…4 Mathews is playing like he wants to back to Arizona…my picks… Mathews and Taveras out for top six players and draft picks.

  10. You guys have something for every single L in this series, Game 1, Panther's got lucky! Game 2 We got Golied, Game 3 They didn't show up and we gave FL the win.
you guys haven't even made pass round 1 in 19 years what makes you guys think or even better DELUSIONALLY think that Panther were going to be an easy team to beat?

  11. I'd seriously be talking to Arizona now because they would give a boatload up to Mathews…a BOATLOAD!!

  12. blow the team up, these superstars dont come on when u need them in the big games. The florida goalie is playing well no doubt but when u have marner mathews ect playing 25 min a game and registering 1 shot on goal there is a problem. WEhen u have 3rd and 4th liners playing half the mins these guys are and registering more shots and scoring chances and again there is aproblem

  13. Like many others, we were all duped into believing the Leafs were going to turn on that Florida State magic again. But all they gave us was another dagger in the heart. I didn’t even react to the OT goal because I was already flatlined.

I was born in ‘68, so I’m in the official Lifetime Loser Leaf Fan Club. I’ve been watching since the Sittler years and still wear my Gilmour jersey. I feel sorry for the younger fans that didn’t get to witness his passion and determination.

I will feel embarrassed to watch game 4.

  14. Marner is a lost cause. Matthews and Nylander need to be on a different team where they don’t have the history and will have more veteran players already established on the roster so their main focus will just be on playing hockey. Won’t be all on their shoulders in the playoffs. Marner just doesn’t have it and you can see it on his body language, facial expressions and play. Needs an exorcist or sports psychologist or something because he just has zero confidence in himself when the post season starts.

  15. I'm sure you made that title for the clicks… But holy shit, first thought was "Are you new here?"

  16. Leafs losing to David Ayers was the most humiliating loss for Toronto – nothing has changed with their play since that night.

  17. The fact that they had three days in between games and chose to travel the day of seemed like a really stupid decision and could have easily been the reason yesterdays game looked so off

  18. Anthony, & Michael, I did predict the Blue & White
(Toronto Maple Leafs🍁) to take the Series in Five
Games Prior to Game One of Round Two. Truthfully,
After watching these Three Games, "There are MORE TURNOVERS in these Games, Than there are
in any BAKERY🍰🍩!!! PANTHERS caused the Maple
Leafs to make Turnovers. I know how G.F.P. stance
on the PANTHERS forcheck. The Leafs Core Four
appeared to have done an: Alexei Yashin (Disappeared), This looks apparent G.F.P.P. Thank
You for another Podcast/Episode. The Toronto
Maple Leafs definitely need to pull a RABBIT out
    of the hat🐇🐰.

  19. You guys keep talking about "if the leafs just scored they would have won" and no, you can't claim that, Boston thought the same thing and took the lead on the Panthers twice in the 3rd period only to have the Panthers tie and eventually beat them in game 6, what you don't realize about the Panthers is whatever their opponent throws at them, they have an answer for, like a goal with :59 seconds left in period 3 of game 7 to force OT, and winning there also. You're completely missing that point that if the leafs scored more, so would the Panthers, if they needed to. Speculation? I suppose, but at least based in the reality of past performance, and not the fantasy of what you want and hope you would see…

  20. COILERS are getting their ASS kicked in Coilerville tonight 10 minutes LEFT in the game Knights 5 Coilers 1 …GO KNIGHTS GO

  21. Nylander 6.9 , JT 11 mil … DUBAS got SCREWED so so bad it hard to believe Belongs on the 3rd line no other place for the past 2 seasons

  22. Matthews will get more than 13 mil Dubas will give Matthews what he wants …Remember in what i said

  23. Detroit is hardly a comparable here. Yes, Yzerman and Fedorov were together about 5 years before their run in 95, and sure 94 was rough getting bounced in the 1st by a very upstart San Jose (who would soon be a perennial threat but one that was given a similar mantle as Toronto now, that they could never get over the hump… and they didn’t) lose to New Jersey, but nobody was expecting them to win a cup until the 95 run and that was disappointing but they had made progress… they had made it to a cup final, 96 was a harsh one with 62 wins and bounced in the conference finals by the eventual winner, but nobody was saying they should tear it down at that point or that they didn’t have it in them, at least I sure don’t remember it going that way living in Detroit and rooting for them. If there were some murmurs they proved them wrong when we made it to the final in 95 even though we were swept by the Devils.

If anything, I’d say San Jose and St Louis are the comparables here from that era with Hull, Oates, McInnis, Pronger in St Louis and Nolan, Marleau, Selanne, Ricci, Stuart, and later Joe Thornton in San Jose.

  24. Sheldon Keefe is getting outcoached but only because he has no choice but to lean on Matthews, Marner, Tavares and company because they’re supposed to be producing. Those are the guys you shouldn’t have to worry about going cold and having to juggle around to find their game, and they’re just not giving him anything. Honestly, Nylander should be on the top line at this point cause he’s the only one on the team that seems to be giving the effort even if it hasn’t paid off really.

  25. If they lose, from an outside prospective what would make most sense to me is trade Tavares, get something for him. You definitely have to play hardball with Matthews and Nylander… honestly you may keep Nylander over Matthews if it comes down to it, because even though there’s not a ton to show for it the effort has at least been there for Nylander.

  26. Your core can't get it done. That simple. 0 emotion, beating Tampa was a fluke, last year they looked better and lost. Also, O'Reilly just became another expensive rental.

  27. Unfortunately it appears Marner is just always terrible when contact picks up AKA the playoffs. He just forgets to move his feet and skate, especially in the defensive zone.

  28. Believe me-Ive hated these playoffs-I wanna see the best teams,& players-not lucky underdogs. My Avs had the worst injuries of any deffending champ in 3 decades, lost Nichuskin for "personal issues"-& got Makar suspended(which I was fine with in that vacum that never applies with that bitch a$$ George Parros)-while Eberle skates in game 7 after a much more malicious hit. Like at many points in your series-refs just decided to call nothing in game 7-which benefits the less talented team. Upsets are already super likely in hockey,so the nhl INCREASES the odds by just letting anything go…calling no penalties,& enforcing "DICIPLINE"-by basically throwing darts at a dart board with zero consistency, justice or common sense. And this goes way beyond our series,or those guys. Weve seen this double standard for decades with so many different teams,& players.

Having said all that-Avs largely dominate game 7,Kraken score 1 completely lucky goal,we have another disallowed & analytically Avs absolutely deserved to win. But our old goaltender Grubauer plays awesome-despite being awful since he left Colorado. Better team-even as compromised as we were-is sitting home mostly cuz of the hockey gods.However-Seattle does deserve a ton of credit for outplaying us early in the series, therby allowing Grubbauer to find some "irrational overconfidence",& showing more poise than most largely playoff inexperienced teams usually do. More than 1 thing can absolutely be true at same time.

Thats just hockey-partly what makes the game great,& why upsets happen far more often than any other sport. Difference is-I can be a bit dissapointed(& since I work at Ball arena-Avs losing means I gotta get a summer job as soon as Nuggets season is over)-but still be very proud of an overachieving reg season(Avs had like 500 lost man games,Dallas had like 80-somehow we won the central)-& still extremely proud of the fight they showed in the playoffs, despite beyond unfair,& extreme adversity ALL SEASON LONG! I dont question my teams effort, will to win, mental toughness,or championship mettle even once during that series.

Leafs are a different story,& obviously havent earned close to the benefit of doubt my Avs have. At this point, their best players should be some kind of psycological experiment in how powerfull the mind is,& thats not a good thing in this case. I heard Minnesota fans make a hilarious but true statement bout the Wild-that absolutely is true of Toronto also-despite finally winning their 1st series in 2 decades. How amazing is it that hockey is so random,so much more dependent on luck than other sport,& far more often-process doesnt equate to getting a fair,& just result.EXCEPT for the Wild-lol. They never seem to get lucky in the playoffs, have a goalie steal a series,or just flat out benefit from the randomness,& coin flip nature this game often is.

Same thing with the Leafs-they are always Charlie Brown, never Lucy-just always get a predictable, heart breaking loss.Sometimes fully deserving it-but often not at all,& everything in between. Obviously, its much easier for me to get over the Avs losing since-I just went to a Cup parade like 11 months ago. Assuming Dallas,Vegas,or Seattle-in that order-dont win the cup-I can definitely let this season go,as frustrating as its been.
