The Canucks could’ve seen who this kid was back in the fall and decided to properly tank for the home-town kid. Everyones known since he was like 14 that he was gonna be the next big thing. The Canucks could’ve been doing shit for years to make sure they’d some day get him.
They didn’t. This is on them, not him because he’s draft age.
