To whoever complains about Lukas defence..he came in the league and he was never know to be a one on one defender but he was good as a team defender…now when you have a team around luka not doing well defensively he will get the blame as a star of the team bit in reality he is being let down by teammates

I'm just blown away that Dallas fans are willing to hitch the success of the Mavericks over the next 4 years to Kyrie. He's a complete wild card and you have enough evidence to say it wont work.

I think they've done OK the last few years. Drafted green and hardy. Made some weird trades but it could be a lot worse. Just look around the league

Thank you for your Brunson/ownership comment. That "we didn't know the bid!" nonsense bothered me ever since I read it, especially with the amount of Mavs fans outright hating on Brunson for leaving.
Cuban treated Brunson like he was a restricted free agent for some stupid reason when he wasn't, so why should anyone be surprised when he left? We all would leave, too.
I disagree! I think bullock needs to go. He takes more than half of the season to get warm up. This year, he didn’t really warm up much and plays not enough defense
I really don't like the fact we are going into a huge offseason with an inexperienced gm and limited assets. Part of me feels Nico is in over his head. I try to be optimistic but my faith is pretty low

The fact that Kidd is still HC puts the confidence level at the lowest it can be for me. The management of this team is reminiscent of when Suns were selling Rondo, first round pick, for cash. 1 confidence.

Every move that Nico made has been bad other than drafting Jaden Hardy. KP has played really well. He didn't lock up Brunson. He traded a 2029 first for Irving. Irving is 30 years old has plantar fasciitis and they will end up paying him the max which no one else will. Its Russell Westbrook 2.0. He signed DFS and got lucky he was able to trade him to Brooklyn since he completely declined. Lots of 2nd round picks traded away for no reason. He traded for Christian Wood who the coach wouldn't play due to defensive issues. Reggie Bullock was ok last year but not too good. THJ is alos overpaid and we could have signed Dinwiddie instead. Basically you could have had Luka, Dinwiddie, KP, and Brunson on the team. Plus assets to get a defender like Jared Vanderbilt. Nico has made bad move after bad move.

Brunson was the 3rd best player after Doncic and Athletic Skilled 7'5" Kristaps Porzingis. That was a DREAM TEAM FOR THE AGES. They were just YOUNG and needed a year or two.
I really believe confidence or not this summer will determine the Mavs future. All the deals so far were admitting all the players changed or moved was not a foundation for a championship, sometimes I think playoffs were ok, no championship is ok. The time is now, we must build a foundation that can win a championship. Then when more money is available go for it. Brunson a great player, come on.
Confidence level: big FAT "0" . Mavs are in this terrible position because of themselves. How do you have 1 superstar, no one else around him. No cap space, no draft picks, no tradable assets. Even a coach "Carlisle" who basically walked cause he saw the writing in the wall w this mess! If Nico can overhaul this roster. Good for him. My bit of advice.. please lock Cuban out the front office door! Tell him to stay away and stop making decisions… he is the #1 reason this franchise stays a mess!!

If Kyrie stays, the Mavs should trade the 10th pick for a win-now player. If Kryie leaves, maybe the Mavs keep and retool with an emphasis on the younger guys like Hardy, and Green.
