  1. Lots of "finding out" going on in this series. Oilers are "finding out" it isnt fun playing VGK in your home rink, as more often than not my knights get a w

  2. Blatant kneeing on Hyman not called. This is the 2nd uncalled kneeing on an Oiler player.
Vegas capitalized on their ops, Oil didn't. Move on to improve for next game.

Third game of the series and the Oilers were blown out first game at Rogers, not a great start at home. The ONLY Oilers Goal came 2:45 into the first period a depth goal by the 3rd line of Foegele (goal), Ryan (primary), McLeod (secondary). That line has been contributing for a long time now and it's nice to see them rewarded on the scoreboard BUT the rest of the game was a problem. I couldn't watch this one at all. I couldn't listen to it either. I'm going just from stats and a lot of those were actually pretty decent. We won more faceoffs, had double the amount of hits, killed every penalty (though we got zero on the PP which is odd for us), had fewer giveaways and more takeaways but we had 10 less blocked shots. Just these stats should say things should have been better BUT they weren't. Take care all.
