  1. man.. really disappointed in VV… not good enough. if you can't get any far shot..and way too often out of position. he had ZERO convincing game this playoffs. let's hope we can turn it around in 7 with schmido with our backs against the wall.

  2. from a Hawks fan, these young good Devils remind me of the Hawks starting in the 07-08 season, they were a good young team on the rise.. i see the same in the Devils, stay patient Devils fans, your time is on the way…

  3. Oh my God, Sean McDonough’s play-by-play commentary of hockey is the most PAINFUL thing I’ve had to endure during these playoffs.

Lethargic and prone to mistake. Absolutely horrible.

“And he scores…” is now the hockey version of Joe Buck’s “Pass is… caught” or “Back at the wall…”, except it should be THE most exciting moment of the call.

McDonough is not made for hockey. Respect to Sean because he’s a fantastic commentator in other sports, but he cannot and will not ever be a proper commentator for the NHL, for as fast of a sport that hockey is.

Just stick to football and let Bob Wischusen handle hockey, for the better of us all.

  4. After seeing that first goal go in, which I initially thought was about as soft as they come (but it was a good deflection and the turnover was garbage), we then get that Staal play with 2 point blank shots, and I thought here we go again. Letting in butter soft goals and can't score on gift wrapped, golden opportunities. That second period, though – a true haymaker counterpunch after game 3. Lets go Canes!

  5. I was going to say it's timo time. Then burnzie sends the keeper packing. Respectfully as a sharks fan.

  6. Lindey must be flipping a coin at this point to figure out what goalie to put in next game

  7. The Devils played without fire, no passion of whatsoever, probabply super tired from this long long season. Yet there is a chance.
    LGD!

  8. The Hurricanes are going to win the Cup. They got the puckluck you need.
Laffs fans will go crazy after writing off Freddie.

  9. It has been a long time since i have seen a team look so defeated on the ice. Game 2 and 4 the devils looked tired and so outplayed.

  10. Can't blame the goalies for this loss. Devils failed all around in this game.

  11. I think its games like this where, no matter who wins the Stanley Cup, no goalie will be winning the Conn Smythe this season. The reason why I think so is because skaters from all teams have done a great job at finding the back of the net. I understand that the playoffs aren't over yet and that anything can happen, but when you look at how many goalies have been letting in 5+ goals a game in these playoffs, it was probably enough to keep them out of the Conn Smythe discussion.
