  1. Cassidy still coaching.

    Up 2-1 in Round 2.

Bergeron and Krejci got him fired. Quality leadership.

  2. The series loss is on Monty and Essensa, leaving an injured Ullmark in there starting from game 5 on, also they were playing well without the injured Bergeron and Krejci, he put them back in too soon and it was all downhill from there. They need not one, but 2 new top 6 centers, easier said than done, but Bergeron and Krejci are done.

  3. Coaching decisions killed this team in playoffs mixing lines up mixing d pairings keeping Ullmark in I mean list goes on

  4. this shit makes me sick what kind of crap is monty trying to sell group therapy ? we need to clean house this is pathetic

  5. When you have a epic fail it will come to a point of where it failed and the reason why. The coach blames the players the fans blame the coach . In the end it falls on the coach especially in the NHL. Now that we will have to rebuild and move on it's hard to see players move on and a few retire but we are Bruins fans and we will always come back better then we were before.

  6. Cam said it… they should have stuck with the line of game 3 and 4. It’s mind boggling why he changed everything in 5, 6 and 7. Bergy and Krejci should have talked the first round off. Swayman should have been put in game 6.

  7. Leadership gave coaching and players everything to win, and they failed. Going to be a fun year coming up, lots of talent – and a ton to shoot for in our 100 year. Lets go Bruins!

  8. Bruins found their game in 3 & 4 why didn't it continue for game 5? My guess is they thought it would be easy at home to close it out which they almost did playing very sloppily.

  9. He needs to go. He was out coached, not aggressive, not wise and only needed one more game to pull it off and cruise. I truly believe he didn’t have any impact for the success of this team any coach could’ve done the same thing!

  10. Sweeney compiled a wagon of a team this year. Feel bad for him. Tough times ahead. Other teams in the division will be better, Bruins won't be.

  11. Don’t sense lessoned learned by Monty. He realizes hindsight mistakes, but not the reasons BEHIND them. Normalcy Bias and lack of urgency while on your deathbed. He needs an internal switch – nice guy for the reg season and an ass (if needed) for the playoffs. May need a sports psychologist, but what did work was Maurice calling his team out live in front of his bench – to which he said he used every 4-letter word he knew. Before then they didn’t win 3 games in a row all year and between his rant and Tkachuck’s father call them puxxies and soft did they then go on their longest winning streak of the year into grabbing the last playoff spot playing like madmen with forechecking on steroids.

  12. The only shoutout is to this page for the good coverage. Time for a huge revamp in players this next year

  13. I’ve been a B’s fan since ‘69. Win or lose I’m there. This year was an incredible season, and an even more incredible disappointment. But for fans to be talking about getting rid of a first year coach, or even changes at managerial positions is ludicrous! They did everything right in a historic season. Then had a 3-1 lead in the series. Had leads in games 5, 6 and 7. Were 59 seconds from moving on. Give Florida credit. They fought their asses off to pull it off. And are about to sweep the Leafs. They were the best team in the regular season last year, who have obviously peaked at the right time this season. Yeah, I have questions. Why was Bergy in there? He’s 38 years old with a herniated disc. And it was more than obvious that Linus,(the sun will come up tomorrow), Ulmark wasn’t physically up to the task, so Sway should have been used more. And also what about Lindholm? He was either hampered by some injury, (which I hope was the case), otherwise, his being a puddle is to be expected every year come playoff time (0 goals, 0 assists). MacAvoy wasn’t the same great player as he was during the season. Marchy and Bergy were a minus 6! Ullmark had more points,(1 assist), than Lindholm, Grzelcyk, Frederic and Clifton combined! Not to mention Pasta wilting when it counted. Let’s face it, the B’s have some speed and skill, but need to also get bigger and badder to compete next year.
    Go B’s!!!!

  14. Monty sucked in playoffs when it really counted. Defered decisions to goalie bob, no adjustments. Mixed up all the lines from reg season. This guy should b o. Hot seat. For real
