@Ducks d'Anaheim

    Fantilli is one of the top prospects in a long time. Sucks not getting Bedard but not a bad second option

    I like this new influx of copium posts hyping Fantilli because I’m still salty that we won’t get bedard

    Parents should’ve named him Connor… that way he automatically is as good as other hockey Connor’s

    Call me a conspiracy theorist but we are going to draft Fantilli and Bedard is going to hold out and join the Ducks for 5 unprotected 1st rounders!!! Let’s go!!!! LOL

    My view is this:

    Bedard has the potential to be the perfect partner for Zegras.

    Fantilli has the potential to be the perfect partner for McT.

    And maybe unpopular opinion here but i think Zegras + Bedard gives us entertaining hockey while McT + Fantilli gives us winning hockey.

    Call me selfish, but I had really hoped for both 🤣

    I do really like the size aspect of fantilli too. You don’t need only big players to succeed, but with zelwegger and zegras you have a couple guys who aren’t the biggest. I do think it’s tough to have 3 guys like that on the ice at once, even if they’re skilled. And that’s the one legit knock on bedard, lots of people doubt he’s even 5’10”. Bedard is the best prospect and barring injury will be the better player almost certainly, but it would’ve complicated the team building and lineups most coaches would choose to play.
