  1. Hockey was crazy between the 70's and early 2000's. Even with the fans. My god I'm from Vancouver. We almost burnt our city down twice after losing two attempts at the Stanley Cup final.

  2. Ill never understand the logic behind liking this brand of hockey more, because guys punched each other more?

  3. Retrospect is hilarious. The Blackhawks commentator is claiming St. Louis is the less talented team, and drastically by the way he says it. Look at the players on the ice… The Blues have Oates, Hull, and Stevens. I would argue all were better than Roenick. Hull and Stevens are both better than Chelios. Belfour is probably the best Hawk, and I'd put Hull and Stevens ahead of him too.

  4. I remember watching this live on TV when I was in 8th grade. I miss those fierce rival games, the Quebec VS Montreal
were some hum singer games as well. Bloody Sunday for life

  5. Gonna miss the golden voice of Pat Foley. The tryouts for his replacement suck.

  6. I don’t care how tough you are: when you’re looking out of the neck hole in your jersey you look pretty funny.

  7. I realize these are Chicago commentators, but boy are they blind to anything Roenick would do… wow lol

  8. I grew up in Philadelphia a lifelong Flyers fan, but they aired SportsChannel America in our area when it was still a Chicago affiliated station. It was around this era, late ‘80s to early ‘90s, when I got to watch some of the great old Norris Division matchups like this. It made me grow an appreciation and sentimental soft spot for teams like the Hawks, Blues and Northstars.

  9. Crapcago (keeping it respectful) observers with mic’s are thee quintessential def of ‘Homers.’ And not Simpsons either. And announcer Alice musta had the Vyse Grip nut clamper cinched up real tight because he was sqweeling like a lil girl on the hawks goals.

  10. Ah back when hockey was exciting and relevant. Now no one cares about it because its turned into soccer on ice. And who cares about soccer? Exactly.

  11. 5:26 Dale Tallon just casually burying Ron Caron lol. Surprised they didn't throw down pre-game.

  12. Blues-Blackhawks became the Greatest rivalry in hockey, because of this game. When the Blues got considerable talent comparable with the Blackhawks and Red Wings, we all thought that it was going to be soon before a Stanley Cup in St.Louis well before 2019. Stuff happens tho, but the St.Patricks Day Massacre between the Blues-Blackhawks will remain forever. BTW, Go Blues!!!!
