Would love Ryan O’Reilly on a 3-4 yr deal. Could help show younger guys good 2 way hockey the way Toews/Hossa used to play.

Highly doubt they’re going to go after a big name free agent right now. I’ve got a feeling they’re going to try and just get to the cap floor (about $65 million iirc) and then use the remaining space to take on contracts for assets. Next year is when they’re probs gonna start looking at some big free agents
I expect a few cheap older vets to provide some offensive leadership.
There’s this really great future FA this off-season. Who has been in the league for over a decade, had MVP caliber seasons, and a slew of knowledge of playing in the league. His name is Patrick Kane.
Its more likely a trade than a free agent. Use the cache of 2nd round picks and take on someone else’s bad contract to gain an asset.
