Avec notre espace plafond, accepteriez-vous un échange pour Garland ? (Un bon producteur 5v5 avec des totaux de saison décents)
Seravalli: Canucks have been somewhat aggressively in talks with teams to at least understand the prices of what it would cost to unload a contract. A lot of focus has been on Garland…To this point the prices have been very high…Teams want high picks in return

Garland produces a lot of offense for a guy that’s as sound defensively as he is. All the fancy stats say he’s a defensive forward even if his offensive ratings weren’t great this season (production was still solid on a bad team).
Problem is, I don’t know where he’d fit in this lineup. We have a good problem in that we have so many younger players deserving of a shot. This feels like a move you only make if the pick you’re getting in return is a 2nd or maybe a 3rd and a swap of 11 and 13.
Word on the street is he has a terrible attitude and is locker room cancer
I can’t really fathom adding another forward with how many we already have + the kids in Rochester.
Sabres shoud not even look at trading for mid-line forward. They have way too many young guys waiting for opportunity, to block them with guy like Garland or Boeser
Feel like the time to add cap dump players has come and gone. Particularly if they are forwards.
There’s a reason I’m not GM, but how fuckin fun would it be to bring Myers back ? We’d have two Giraffes and every once and awhile he bites now
Are they trading JT Miller
So he is still understand l under contract for another 3 years at a smidge under $5milliov aav. I think IF you can get a decent pick out of VAN you take the deal. Then you flip him to a team for another pick. There would be a bonus here if you can get Vancouver to hold onto salary (unlikely). But the Sabres can absolutely hold onto a couple million for three years and if it gets you a couple picks. Why not? The play would absolutely NOT be too trade for him to play. We don’t have a forward need.
