Panarin missed so many good scoring chances it’s not even funny. Even the partial breakaway I knew he was going to miss it. He is so anti clutch.

the main culprit for the complete lack of 5v5 offense, with only one NYR on the list in this post, can be directly tied to [this chart](https://twitter.com/JFreshHockey/status/1656406196960600065) — literally half of NYR’s D corps being among the worst in the playoffs at moving the puck
also worth noting how Trouba’s D partner is not even in this chart despite being on the ice with Trouba the entire playoffs, almost as if [he’s significantly better defensively when he’s playing with literally anybody else](https://hockeyviz.com/fixedImg/replacements/2223/NYR/milleka00/) and criticism of him is very much misguided
