They are never blamed for the losing why would they be accountable now , trade Kadri, trade a goalie but God forbid you hold the overpaid core accountable

After game 2 I gave up watching the Leafs in this year's playoffs. You can see that they're getting swept and it's not even close (and I've been a life-long leaf fan). My exact words were that they got lucky with Tampa but that they can't win playoff games by playing 40 minutes of hockey. 40 minutes/game is good enough for a great season but for Playoffs when all the other teams are playing 60 solid minutes with all they got, the Leafs ramp it up to play 50 minutes (tops). This team is so embarrassing, it's not funny anymore.
Panthers are laughing and they're not wrong to do so. If it wasn't for a lucky wild puck off a skate in round 1, game 6, Toronto would have lost the first round… again. They deserved to lose and let's face it, if they lost game 6 there was a 100% chance they would have choked in game 7. If I employed the amount of 8 figure employees that Toronto employed, I would certainly expect more. Those 8 figures should be very heavily based on playoff performance and success.
I hope that I'm wrong. I hope this years Leafs does what 4 teams in history have. Something that the 1942 Leafs did and win 4 straight to overcome a 3-0 deficit. If that is the case and they bring it to game 7, I'll watch them again this year. Otherwise, I've saved the heartache of the last two games and I'll save the heartache of the one tonight too. It's back to the drawing board and waiting for October for me as sadly Toronto gives very little hope to be had when they show up to watch the same hockey game we do.

Its nice they finally acknowledge Draisaitl is good. This time last year they werent even putting Drai in their top 5, Jesse saying Matthews is significantly better than Drai offensively and Adam saying because Matthews plays defense hes a better player. Though at that time Adam was arguing Matthews was better than McDavid as an all round player….so it was a crazy time

You don't trade for one of the best playoff guys O'Reilly and stick him on line 3. Just makes no sense. But sure as hell makes sense why our team looks sooooo dejected because they're probably seeing it too. Marner knows how to win. he's proven it in junior. You can't always carry the weight of a team when the team is clearly again not putting in its best team and lines. Gustaffson has been sitting for how long and the guy comes in a gets a goal.. please whats even that about?

Its so hard watching them go down with so much talent. I hope this is the turn around because I like dubas and keefe up until this playoffs They are not using their assets properly. Kerfoot and jarkrok with laferty on line 3 isn't a bad idea.
Keefe and Dubas have proven they can win too in junior not sure what theyre smokin keepin O'Reilly on the third line. Even if we were winning I'd still be fn sad about that seriously I feel horrible knowing he's playing in a checking role.
