I’m glad they brought up the fact that the broadcasters, instead of breaking down how the Hurricanes did well on a play that leads to a goal, they talk about how it was just the other team having a minor brain fart or something. I’ve noticed this being a trend for a while now, being particularly bad since the Lightning series from 2021 and the Rangers series last year. It is so damn annoying.

Speaking of big markets, if Slavin played in Boston or Montreal, everyone would talk about how he is a top defender. But he plays here and just silently kills it.
