    Panther fan here. We really didn't pressure or shoot enough tonight. Toronto got the bounce that made the difference and sometimes that's all it takes. I expected Toronto to win, and honestly, I expected it to be by more. The Panthers did too much holding and waiting and not just shooting and it showed. We'll see how it goes Friday. GG tonight though. Toronto did enough to survive.

    Edit: the shoot comment is more so shots at the net. We kept shooting into bodies and hands.

    Two things: 1) Leafs don’t deserve to move past round 2. They only managed to beat Fl by 1. 2) Holl needs to stay on the bench.

    I still think if the leafs want to take this to a game 7 and win they need to play Flor diffently…They need to pinch more and play a more run n gun game . I noticed they were pinching at times but they were being smart about it. These tight games falls into panthers hands …a bounce here a bounce there. Leafs have talent and skill and they need to use that to there advantage against this flor team. I think each series your going to play teams differently and leafs didn't adapt as quickly as maybe they should have after Tampa….Flor was not forechecking hard tonight but you still have to give the leafs credit. There a better team anyway.

    If the Leafs had lost tonight, with this same effort. How much "gas is left in the tank" effort wise?. Still like 40%, is my guess. The FLA goal should have caused some combustion….

    Matthews gets the most in a trade, costs the most against the cap and elevates his game the least in the playoffs if it comes time to hit the panic button.

    I feel like people are down on Tavares, but he has made so many OMG plays and really stands out as a game breaker to me. He's not the fastest, but he's having a huge impact.
