IF you make the right draft choices, you can certainly build a team around Bedard and some other 1st–3rd round picks.
You can tell Chelios is Chicago through and through. Always held a grudge because he went to Detroit but you can tell he loves the hawks
If Kaner would want to, I think it would be a beautiful thing to bring him back. Who better to usher in the next star and take him under his wing than him? Not only would they be fun to watch, I think having Kaner there would down play the comparisons and expectation for Bedard to fill Kaner’s winged skates. But knowing Davidson and how he seems to want to do things, I doubt he would do it

Chris played with a friend of mine, Wayne Wagner, I'm Moose Jaw. Glad he went to the Hawks watching him with my Pats the last 3 years. Bedard playing in windy Saskatchewan, it was fate he would end up in the windy city. Pats are the oldest Jr franchise on earth and Chicago is an original 6.

Watching everybody so butt hurt that he’s coming here is crazy. Chicago fans suffer for the most part. We deserve more superstar players like this.
While there are way more NHL teams in the US, the passion is in Canada. Not arguing that the NHL is not happy with Bedard going to Chicago, but how can US fans not like Matthews in Toronto or Tkachuk when he was in Calgary? They can only be in one city, so it's not like all the US can now watch Tkachuk now that he's in Florida. They can watch him in whatever city he plays in, in either country if they actually care. Can you tell I live in Canada?!?! Haha! Cheers lads

There is a huge threat of sexual harassment in this organization for a young player. They are not good at protecting young players. This organization has not clean up the garbage in this aspect yet.

3 years of being a contender in the western conference is not a conservative time table. Thats pretty naively optimistic. They may start to get somewhat good in 3 years. An actual contender more like 5-6 years.
Brring back Kane, Debrincat and or Panarin now.

I sincerely hope the hawks are smart enough to have a couple (tough) players on their roster to help protect bedard from the cheap hitters and reckless players that could target bedard.
The draft lottery should include all 32 nhl teams. Why shouldn't a team like the Leafs, for example, be excluded from Bedard just because they had a good season? Not fair.

the lottery should be cancelled at all.. take the ranking after 60 games and at the end of season take the playoff teams after the non-playoff teams.
Blackhawks don’t deserve another Patrick Kane type player. He should have went to a team that takes care of its players better.
