   In of all the clips I’ve seen of Jonesy, I’ve never seen him address the lack of talent. It’s all about them lacking toughness and being too easy to play against. I mean at least he acknowledged they were garbage, but he’s also on the record as being a huge fan of guys like Risto and Tony D.

   I guess it won’t be a huge problem if he’s not involved with player personnel decisions, but to me I’m not seeing the fresh/modern perspective that everyone else is.

   Him making that statement and still being hired makes me think this was a good move. He won’t sugar coat how he feels and will be in step with Torts and Briere when it comes to players being held accountable.

   I remember the first time watching Jones play with the Flyers, he scored in his first game against the Devils which we won, at a time when we rarely beat them. He was running his mouth the entire time, the Devils were all fuming 😀
