    If the Yankees didn't have so many injured players, they'd be in a better position in the division and this game would have had a bigger result. The situation the Yankees are going through right now shows that they can only beat teams that aren't very competitive right now like the Oakland Athletics or the Kansas City Royals.

    That looked like batting practice for the Bronx Bombers! Good to see, less out-of-the-park hits. Also, the A's announcer, was he a stand-in, borrowed from the PGA? His enthusiasm was muted for sure.

    To everyone slobbering over this win: The A's are the worst team in baseball. Out of 30 teams, they are 30th in runs allowed per game at 7.51 runs/game. Only one other team is even over 6 per game. The A's have the lowest payroll in MLB (the Yanks are 2nd highest, more than 4 times the A's). The A's rank 26th in team batting and are last in wins, with a record of 8-29. I'm happy for the win, but this was not only a "should" win, it was a "should dominate." Glad NY didn't blow it.

    It’s so strange to me nowadays. You see it with a lot of teams, especially younger teams like the Blue Jays, A’s, Marlins. Down 9-3 and a player hits a home run and the whole bench celebrates like they just took the lead in playoff game. You’re still down by 4. Guess I’m just getting old, but it doesn’t seem like a time for celebration.

    I miss when these highlights were 15+ min now they’re all under 10 min🫠

    I know we are cursed and everything, but how about setting up the narrative to follow some of the storylines A's fans are interested in? Prologues to these games have basically been "Yankees Update"

    What’s crazy is the Yankees would be a couple of games out of first in the west. The AL East is by far the best division in baseball.

    Go Yanks!!! I hope Judge, Rizzo and Torres retire as Yankees!!! I’m sure Judge will unless he keeps getting hurt and the change something in the contract but I’m a Judge fan from Day One And Always Will Be!!! And now with The 2 Oswald’s and Anthony V. We are in good shape to start a Championship Run in the next year or so! I Hope!!!
