Very, very lucky.
That got dicey in the end glad my Stros were able to close it out and get the win and take the series. Javier was awesome today and Peña and Yordan was doing their thing but uh the Angels were also kind of giving us chances on offense due to their infield blunders so there that.
All in all great win day off tomorrow but this is a chance for us to start a win streak and we are faceing a disappointing White Sox team let’s try to give JP France his first win in the majors
No one on, 2 outs, Yordan Alvarez, you walk him. If you're gonna actually pitch to him, don't give him anything to hit, not a fastball barely out of the top of the zone.
Another solid outing by Javier. Other than a mistake pitch early on, he had his stuff working great. Meyers showing that hustling pays off. Too many players just jog out an infield ball, but he ripped down the line and his effort made the difference. Some smart base running by King Tuck and also Julks proved positive. Pressly has to make Astros fans bite their nails every time he comes in to close. Regardless, the Astros got the W and will get an off day before facing the White Sox. Nice win, lads. Get some rest and keep going. GO STROS!
