I kinda want us to go forward, either Heidt or Perreault

Really hope Brayden Yager would still bethere. He’s projected to go around 15-16

Take Barlow, if you can fix his skating he will be a force, Brayden Point 2.0 vibes

From my limited research I think we should go after Heidt. Fast skating centre who blew up the WHL in points. Could have lots of upside

It’s hard to go wrong in this draft. That’s for sure.

If one of ASP or Reinbacher are there I’d love to take either but if not the pick has to be Heidt. Kid has a motor and plays like a bulldog. Really good skater, good vision, severely underrated shot, decent 2-way player given he’s still in junior. More importantly he would add to our small pool of high end center prospects.

I think if Reinbacher falls to us we need to take him.

    RITCHIE.

Not because he’s a Ritchie, but both what I’ve seen and what I’ve read. Highly skilled, right side, high end playmaker.

If we could get a solid return, is there any appeal to trading down this year? Any standout picks slated between 17 and 32?

No Matthew Wood? Projected to go 15th-24th. 6’4 195 pound winger who led UConn in scoring this year with 34 points in 35 games as a rookie. His skating is a little rough, but his offensive IQ and shot are both off the charts.

Flames D is pretty solid for the next few years, even if the cupboards are bare there. I’d be picking a RW or a C this year, given the depth of the draft.

But at 16th you always go BPA, so we’ll see who’s there.

Our d prospect pill is weak but got to pick a forward with that pick. Too many really good forwards will be available. Will still be pretty good d prospects in second round

Nate Danielson should be the pick. This guy is going to be Ryan Getzlaf.

Colby Barlow seems to be the most NHL Ready, but lower ceiling imo.

Sandin-Pellika is the highest potential, but 3 years out before being impactful

Danielson seems and all around stud and a def 2C.
