@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. Skinner or Campbell: Who would you start in Game 4 against the Golden Knights?

  2. They should have made a goalie change via trade in March….to think you would win a cup with Stuey???? Before this series, talking to some Oilers fans…..I said Congratulations on the round 1 win, but if you are honest…you must admit you rather have Korpisalo in net than. What you have ….and these fools said "No way." Laughable

  3. How could an Oilers team be so dominant in Game 2 in Vegas yet be so horrible in Game 3 at home before a boisterous crowd?!

  4. You can change your goalie all you want but it wont stop the problem of the team leaving him out to dry

  5. The problem is not the goalie, the oilers defends is weak period..same problem last year..I don't know how coaches dnt see that..

  6. SOUPPPPPYYYYYYYYYY TIMEEEEEEEEEEEE they’ve figured out Skinner seems like he has been letting a lot in lately but that could be the team in front of him loving the series thoooooo

  7. No I don’t think u make a goalie change. If the oilers go down 3-1 in the series then I may consider it but as of right now skinner is just fine.

  8. I think they were always planned to be played as a tandem for the first couple years as skinner developed. Campbel has played exceptionally well this post season when between the pipes. I think you give Campbell one game as a starter, not that your trying to replace stu, but recognize he’s taken on a heavy load as a rookie. Give him one night off to rest and reset. Give Campbell that one night to prove he can be capable of starting. You want a tandem competing for that starter spot, you want both of them at the top of their game. I think giving Campbell one game now is going to pay big dividends if you expect to make it to the cup.

  9. Skinner has a "Damocles sword" on his head, the first minute and the last minute of every periods. Give Campbell the chance of cleaning the skunk air out!

  10. They should have let Cambell start game 2 or even game 1(i inderstand why they didnt game 1) they could've afforded to lose game 2 or 1 and have the knowlege of where Cambell is is he hot right now or is he still having a tough time. Now theyre forced into a prediciment on who to start with i feel like now you basically have no choice but to keep Skinner in net and have a pretty weak idea on how that 5 million dollar veteran goalie with a 0.91sv% is doing.

  11. I say give Campbell a game, he played incredible in relief of Skinner against the Kings in game 4.

  12. Are any media companies ever going to press the NHL on officiating accountability?

  13. Stick with Skinner but keep a close eye on the situation. Don’t wait till it’s to late.

  14. No. Skinner stays in the net . He played well . Last game . Way to many 2 on 1 for Vegas. Oilers played terrible . Skinner and the pp was the only bright spot

  15. Defence left Skinner high and dry in game 3, thats not on him. He's shown he has the ability to compete at a high level, seems to be very calm and strong psychologically. Campbell himself said he takes loses personally, seems to beat himself up and have a weaker psychological game.

  16. After the beating they took last gsme they better change their work ethic if they want to advance.

  17. The Oilers need more players to score goals than just McD and Drai to win the game with either goalie.

  18. As a Oilers fan I don’t think goalie choice matters whether we win or lose. The team has to show up and play a full 60 mins and not get sloppy. The Knight’s are a talented team and if you don’t bring your best they will outshine you.

Skinner and Campbell are both capable goalies but if the team if front of you is lacking it won’t matter which one is on net.

  19. It would help if Nurse wasn't on the ice for the first 3 goals against. 2 of them he was nowhere near the net, and missed his man, one of those he was at the Oilers blue line for some reason

  20. They should play their bad-ass D-core and just rough up the Kraken. Body em at the blue line….oh nevermind…

  21. Neither one of these goalies is capable of winning a championship. Neither one could ever steal a game. They seldom make that great save when needed the most. They both have the same weakness, letting in shots from a distance. They are both great in tight but whiff on shots from the point or the circle. Signing Campbell for 5 years was Kenny's fatal error and it is going to cost them a cup.

  22. Skinner consistenly lets in 1-2 absolute soft goals every game. That needs to change tonight.

  23. I feel like Campbell should start. Skinner has to be rattled after the last disaster in game 3. Having said that the Oilers didn't play well in front of Skinner.
