With the Lightning being eliminated in the first round, it was confirmed that Chicago would pick no lower than 20th overall with their second first-round selection. Then, the Florida Panthers helped even further by knocking off the Boston Bruins in a shocking game 7 win, sending the team that had set the season points record home. Thus, the pick improved to 19th overall.

I disagree that this is the first time that Davidson can be aggressive. He’s been pretty aggressive in his demolition. Turning zero picks in the first round into 3 picks in the first round last year was aggressive
I would prefer the Blackhawks stay at 19 and keep all of their second round picks. The difference in quality isn’t that much between the player they would pick at 12 or 19. The Blackhawks need to bring in as many young players as possible with the chance of hitting on some of them.
For example the Blackhawks are just as likely to land a second line star at 19 as they would at 10 or 12. And with those four second round picks they can really build the bottom six.
Hey I been trying to find Bedard stats on faceoff win%. Cant find it. Anyone know ? I can see his +/- has been sky high this past season so he obviously has played better defensively, but it is quite hard to be in minus territory when scoring a thousand goals. LOL.
