  1. I have a difficult time with the NHL now, for three reasons:
    Hockey in June is ridiculous.
The officiating ruins so many games. The little bs penalties like one handed slashing, hooking, etc.
Who wants to watch a Dallas – Carolina series?

  2. Soo many Leaf haters!!! ? You're a bunch of jealous wannabees! Almost all toronto fans cheer for all Canadian teams..all Canadian teams don't cheer for toronto?? ,,its weird…don't forget that if not for toronto ,the rest of the country would probably starve!!

  3. May their fans be crying, whining and tearing their hair out in despair for yet another embarrassing performance by this stacked, overpaid team who never accomplish anything.

  4. It would be nice if the refs called a fair game instead of favouring most other teams.

  5. As a Buffalo fan I'm loving this plus the sabres aaa affiliate is about to eliminate Toronto s aaa team 4 the caulder cup

  6. I don't think it's very accurate to say the Maple Leafs said they wanted Florida in the second round. Maple Leaf fans might have said that, so did the Leafs deserve what they got because of some of their fans?! It's a pretty jerkoff thing to say!

  7. Leafs are to soft to small. To much of the same. core 4 belong to the canadian national ballerinas. Or great figure skaters. It's not the players fault, that's just their nature. Paying the core 4 big bucks before they accomplish anything rests on the great management and president they have.

  8. Everyone who comments "They really wanted Florida" is silly. The Leafs players were not the ones chanting that in the streets. It was a bunch of silly teenagers who were just having a fun time together after their team finally won in the 1st round. No one from the Leafs organization said anything about wanting to play Florida more than Boston. So drop the stupid narrative already.

  9. 20 bandwagon fans chant we want Florida all of sudden leafs got what they deserved?
Also, COVID froze the cap for what 3 straight years, do you think Dubas or anyone predicted that?

  10. I say get rid of the coach, Dubas, Matthews, Marner, and Tavares. I am so upset with this team spending all that money for so called great players that dissapear in the playoffs. Maybe have a fine system that if you are on the ice while the other team scores then all the ppl on the ice get fined idk let's say $200. If they are on the ice when leafs score then they get a $300 pay raise. I would only do this during playoffs. I would also give any Leaf goalie $500 for a shutout

  11. Management assembled a soft high school girls team. Can't take a hit. Easily bullied when games matter.

  12. Florida had the balls to move their franchise #1 point producer after a 115 point season. Here we see the result – an appearance in the ECF for the first time since 1996. Toronto needs to do a ballsy move like that to make their team less regular season oriented and more playoff oriented. If they don't, expect to see more of the same.

  13. I’m not. Leaf fan at all but I gotta say I I’d call Reillys goal a goal lol

  14. People forgot that the exact same croud chanted we want boston 😂
Gudas shouldve gotten a holding call but still it was cousins vs jarknrok what u expect.
The only reason why toronto didnt win game 2 and 5 is because of bobrovsky and we still barely got game 4. Time to rebuild again. See you in 2029

Edit: start by trading marner, Holl and LilJregren😅

  15. LOL. That photoshoped picture of the puck over the line, which miraculously wasn't around (to me, anyhow) until a few minutes ago when I first saw it, MIGHT just be the most insultingly fake picture I've EVER seen. In fact, it might put some Sasquatch photographs to shame. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously????????????????????? Probably hundreds of thousands of people watched that shot, in multiple replays, in slow motion, super slow motion, super duper slow motion – in still shots, freeze frames, everything …….. but THIS suddenly appears? 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆 Mkay. By the way, I'm NO Leaf fan and am actually happy they lost, but the whole "We want Florida" chant started with a bunch of half (or fully) drunken teenagers outside of the Scotiabank Centre. Stop with the narrative that the majority of Toronto fans even considered saying or "chanting" that as some stupid war cry. Seriously, stop.

  16. They need Justin Bieber to be with them just like Drake was with the Raptors when they won the NBA Finals. Jk, they need more D and to have better shooters.

  17. What they deserve?

Gary Bettman had to end a season and handcuff the league so teams like the Leafs can't spend whatever they want.

So Seattle, Miami, Carolina, Las Vegas and Dallas deserve a cup?

    Your analysis is so pleb.

  18. Habs fan here, the Leafs are soft, and 4 guys eat up 1/2 the salary cap. Until this is fixed, Leafs will continue to lose. I don't see them improving anytime soon.

  19. Fire Shanahan and Dubas. They assembled this mess!
Past performance means nothing in the playoffs

  20. The leafs definitely fought through adversity better this year but they still need to learn to fight back and play nasty

  21. During the Tampa series, Sheldon Keefe said something to the effect that “it just feels different this time”. And he was right: the implosion came in the second round rather than in the first.

  22. The leafs are hitting the golf course early because (just like in any North American League) there is no recourse (penalty) for lazy, uninspired and predictable play. Guaranteed contracts, No trade clauses and a centre of the hockey universe feel will endure continuous poor performance.

  23. OMG…the entire world is out to get us! Do y'all wear tin foil on your heads to block out the alien mind control waves too?

  24. They should trade Matthews for as big of a haul as possible before they lose him for nothing

  25. All the teams that went all in at the TD are out of the playoffs. Did they change the chemistry too much?

  26. That pic of the goal over the line was after the play was called dead. Not sure why refs don't explain that shit properly to the fans there though.

  27. I saw the title and I hmmmm. Then I watched the vid and yeah. The leafs just had no heart and no energy it felt like. 3rd game they came out strong then just stopped. Some of the guys had so much heart tho but without the team behind them…

  28. As bad as the Bruins collapse was, at least their core group of Marchand, Bergeron and Krejic made three trips to the finals and won a Cup. Mathews and Marner have been total busts in the playoffs. Not sure what the Leafs can do, but perhaps they should trade one away and maybe sign someone like Bertuzzi. That kid showed a lot of guts and fire for the Bruins. If I were the Leafs I'd go after him because I've heard that Neely loves him and is willing to trade some established Bruins to make cap room to keep him and Swayman.

  29. Goodbye Matthew's, Marner, and Tavares. Off load for first 1-5 picks in the draft.

  30. The same people complaining about the hold on that series clinching goal would argue the refs should swallow their whistles for the playoffs

  31. Toronto ne possédait pas une défensive de qualité pour se rendre plus loin. La même situation du côté des gardiens. Ils ont atteint le maximum en se rendant en deuxième ronde.

  32. First round exit narrative done.Second round heartbreak exit narrative on going and so on and so forth.😢

  33. That Gudas move at the end is why they're now as close to the cup as they'll get. You can't get away with that kind of kiddie shit…the hockey Gods are always watching.

  34. Bobrovsky was good, but he was also VERY lucky. There were a LOT of bounces that could have as easily gone the other way, pucks trickling past the post instead of just inside it. That's not what beat the Leafs, though. Their problem was playing STUPID. The coaches refused to adapt their game to counter Florida's tactics, and the players kept making dumb decisions and bad plays.
Consider: They spent a LOT of time in the offensive zone skating around and around, passing it here, passing it there, all in an effort to make that perfect play for the perfect shot. How many goals did they score doing this? Here's a hint, you don't need any fingers or toes to count them. ALL the Leafs goals were on deflections or rebounds, gritty, greasy, hardworking goals… with the one exception of a pass to an open man ON THE RUSH. With all their goals being scored this way, why weren't they doing MORE of this? Nope, they needed to be cute and fancy… and this has cost them their playoff run in each of the last three years, at least.
SIMPLIFY. THINK. These were the things the Leafs needed to do… and they flat out refused to do it.

  35. As a Leafs fan this is frustrating. A part of me knows that if we trade any of these talented players away, they will blossom come playoff time for whoever they play with. I see it all of the time. Nazem Kadri comes to mind. There's something about Toronto, it's where talent comes to die.
